A Imperial Guard platoon, With a 50 man blob, and a priest, and Azrael of the Dark Angels. 4+ invul that can be rerolled if the priest passes a leadership test. It s expensive, 520 points for the platoon, priest and Azrael.. but.. People would be so annoyed at the hard to kill blob.. xD

It is known.

The issue with it is its very low attack power.

It's really annoying to fight against but it's not that effective for a lot of points. It's been a thing since 6th edition.

Use a sisters of battele priest. They have ways to auto pass the check.

And use Psykers to give the unit a 3++

And make Azzy your warlord and pick the trait that gives his unit FNP when they are within 3" of an objective.

I dont, I play to have fun. but my friend and most common opponent is constantly telling me to make harder lists and meaner lists cus he thinks I play too nice.. So i'm trying to think of something tough for him to face so he will be happy and have a match he wont find too easy.

Well, that blob would probably be big enough that it could hang out on two objectives and it would have Ob Sec, so those are things in its favor. Mix in FnP and a possible 3++ (or just a 4++) and it actually does get hard to kill.

Idk, could work, depends what you support it with really. Id grab an Emperors Wrath Artillery company for some Ignores Cover Basilisk fire.

Oh good. I read it wrong the. How about some flyers or those super tanks? I don't have a clue how IG plays so not sure if you are willing to buy new minis or just trying to add something small. I say try it out and see how it goes. Hell add some Raven Wing in there. Get a DA Darkshroud to get the added cover saves as well. Not sure how well it will work though, but an idea if you are going by the "save" route.

Mostly I play my Space wolves or Tau against my friend (His demon dogs love eating Tau..) and due to the people I played against before I normaly stay far away from anything strongf rom fear of making my opponents not wanna play against me.. So my friend i play against these days keep trying to get me to make harder lists (Often telling me to make the hardest and meanest list I can when we plan matches) I'm still not good at making good lists though..

This idea came from reading the Dark Angels codex and pondering on my Guard army that I dont use enough. I got the Dark Angels codex as I considerd starting them, But I havent done so yet. I'm not quite sure how to run dark angels so I considerd making them allies to my imperial guard (That mostly use infantry) And thats when I got the idea for the blob of "We dont die".

If you put two priests in there, you can get rerolls to everything. Even if they're conscripts rather than guardsmen, you can kill a dreadknight in one turn that way. Use the Adepta Sororitas priests for the Litanies of Faith relic, and you get to bring a unit of Dominions (Ignores Cover Scouting Melta-spam) as well.
