Hi guys, im new to painting miniatures and would appreciate some feedback on what I could of done to improve this model and future stuff

Was there some specific aspect of your painting that you are looking for advice on? Just by taking a look, I would advise painting the edge of the base a darker color to give some definition to the base. Also the black on the shoulders is rather shiny and that clashes with the matte finish on the rest of the model in my opinion. Over all this is quite good for someone who is new to painting, and its light years better than many of the grey plastic armies that are often found on the tabletop.

1. Thin some of your paints, the black on the shoulderpads/gun looks a little too thick (it might have to do with basecoat etc/ see 3).
2. Try to maintain a clean base, I personally prefer the black rim, and maybe something else than just gravel?
3. Trim lines, the ones that are left from plastic casting, especially on those backpacks are a bitch, between the little vents and all. Try to remove them, get clean surfaces when you can. A nicely cleaned model is a lot easier to paint as well (and more pleasing - for me anyway).

Lastly the purity seal looks great! and the shade just next to it looks even better. You really have the white parts down imo

Very good work for starting out! I love the bone look. You have shading/highlighting down for sure, just thin out that black paint and go for maybe 2-3 coats to cover the pad/bolter and it'll look much more smooth and keep that matte look you have going. Purity seal is the best.

Looks pretty good. lighter armor colors are a pain.

there is some paint leakage on the pouchs, and the red on the gun. just come back and touch them up.

as well any blochy areas form the wash you might want to clean up as well.

also the rubber joints on the legs and arms are not painted which i personally would prefer to be painted.

I just wanted to echo what has already been said - for starting out you have a very good standard down.

The white and shading/highlighting is lovely, the purity seal etc.

Only things are those as mentioned - joints on the arms/legs (unless off white is what you have gone for then that's fine it's your model) and thinning paint. Oh and the edge of the base but again this is your choice, it's more a personal preference.

Having said that it is a great start, and will only improve as you paint more and more!
