What warcaster ary you using? and dont forget he has 2 cortex's

Nice work with the metal, but it does look a bit to shiny. Try using a more bronze-like colour.

The lighting ruins much of the work sadly, can't wait till I have a real photo shoot area in Australia, but here's a phot of my Widowmaker Kaptain non-the-less.

I wanted a very strong tabletop finish, and she looks nice on the tabletop. About 5 and a half hours painting, overall.
She won't be winning any comps, but I think she'll look quite nice on the tabletop.

Behemoth is finished also, and will be posted shortly!

Haven't played any games, yet. Wont really play any till I get back to Aus in August, I imagine.

I have a lot of warcasters, the models I own are the Butcher, Sorscha, Vlad and Karchev.

The snow is just Gale Force 9 snow + PVA glue + water.

The paintjob on the fig looks alright overall, pretty good but not super uber. Look at the face though, and it's just simply incredible, just like the first Warlock you did. If you can paint all your faces like that you need to go back and make all your Blood Ravens helmetless.

Thanks. I paid special attention to the face, since its so important, but as I said, the rest was intended to be 'very good tabletop quality'

(I assume you mean the Widowmaker, the behemoth was about 30 hours of painting, lol!)

Otherwise I'd never have a full army to play with!

And no, the Ravens must remain in helmets!

I painted the Rhino over a year ago, it shows I was just learning a lot of techniques, I think

I am currently finishing the assault terminator squad.

I have laid down all the reds on all 4, as well as painted all their bases.

Now I just need to paint all the details and stuff.

They should all be finished by the end of the week.

After that i have to work on a comission (crimson fist command sqaud)

After that i intend to sort of dance around systems, with a paint order like this


Assault Terms -> Commission -> Finish Chaos Warriors Unit -> Finished Firestorm armada Dindrenzi Cruiser squad -> Paint another Khador Warjack -> Finish Venerable Dreadnaught + tactical Squad (3 models to go).

Haven't planned any further than that atm

DUDE!!!! I have been a long time lurker, so i thought i should say you are awesome. I played Dawn of War ll Chaos Rising and I was wondering if you were going to make the characters. I really like the idea of Tarkus howling as he sprayed holy death into the enemy ranks. You could even use him as a sternguard if hes awesome enough.

Other than Davian Thule, who I really like by the way. I can see it rampaging across the table top now. It would be cool if you went up against some tyranid player, I don't know how effective Thule will be in practice, but the mere sight of it should make the Gaunts run for the hills.

That Dread's a beast, can't even tell it was the Ultramarines Dread.
