Over the last few months we have been running a competition where a few lucky people can win the army of their dreams. This competition is still open for entries in the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Today we announce the 7 winners from the rest of the world. Drum roll please…

WINNERS:

Rianca Steenis, Alkmaar, Netherlands.

Martin Tall, Halle, Germany.

Martyn Vermeulen, Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Guillaume Keller, Arquennes, Belgium.

Kristof Latza, Habighorst, Germany.

Marlon Kollruss, Lübeck, Germany.

Will Crook, Fareham, United Kingdom.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Rianca has wasted no time and has already asked for mighty armies of Seraphon, Greenskinz, Tau and Fyreslayers.

Guillaume has asked for a mighty Stardrake and models from almost every Warhammer 40,000 faction. They’re on the way!

The competition is still ongoing in USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. If you live in any of these countries and want to participate, please do! Your dream army could be just around the corner. Remember, the more orders you place, the greater your chance of winning this epic prize.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Seems like the draw may not have been that fair with 3 winners from Germany and 2 from the Netherlands. With the sheer number of entrants all across Europe and a large proportion in the UK is seems strange that so many came from just 2 countries.

Well... raffles are never fair. The chances of winning doesn't suddenly diminish once a country has been drawn.

Congratulations if someone from Dakka is a winner!

The way I see it, there are some models I need for my army already. Now when I buy them, I at least have a chance of getting a ton of free stuff for it. I don't expect to win, but it's not like I wasn't going to buy the models anyway. Oh, and Congratulations to the winners!

Pretty much my thought as well. A squad of Centurions gets me most of the way there. A small purchase on top of that could, potentially, get me a huge amount more. I already wrote up my entry, just need to place an order. I will be away at army training when winners are announced. Hopefully when I come back on the grid I will have a nice surprise.

For me, it's a good excuse to finally pick up some Drop Pods.

$85.

Of course, you can find that out within 10 seconds by looking at the GW website.

Yeah, those Germanophile Brits (though they accidently mistook Dutch for Deutsch twice). Even the guy from Belgium has a German surname!

I found it really hard to limit myself to five hundred words. I could have easily written 5000 without getting wordy. I am going to make some illustrations of the conversions I have planned and include them.

I can't even think about what I would do with the $3300 USD prize. Probably start an all new army, probably either Eldar (that would be painted like Dark Eldar) or Tau (to be painted like Gundam Zakus). The terrain bundle is an amazing prize on its own, but the $3300 is absurd. Even if I finished out my Crimson Fists and Blood Angels in their entirety, I don't think I could spend all that money.

But the worst part is, that in spite of how large the prize is, it still won't buy me one thing I want. That thing is the Space Marine Command Tanks, and they aren't available in the US for some absurd reason, despite being available in the Anvil Strike Force!

EDIT: Now that I wrote my entry, I need to figure out what I want to spend $85 USD on. I am thinking a Vindicator and a Vindicare Assassin.

I fething hated it when American tourists would speak German to us and then give us stupid looks when we didn't understand them.

Hey, it beats the old days of us yelling loudly and speaking slower in the off chance that'd break the language barrier.

Good luck, casvalremdeikun and tcrfelton, hope you guys win!

@Bottle, Sorry about the contest in your region. At least it saves money for Silver Tower, right?

I entered this thing like four times thanks to eligible Hobbit SBG purchases (which ironically is NOT a game eligible as selections to spend your winning "credit" on), but i'm not expecting much. Honestly, I really poured my heart into a couple of entries, but I have famously gakky luck. :-p

Yeah, I basically bought a few models I needed anyway. I'm highly doubtful I will win, but by entering, at least I have a chance.
