Thrall Wizard of Tzeentch

Eye of Terror.

Hi,
I'm a 40k player and use Tzeentch Daemons/Tzeentch CSM. I have recently decided to also start AoS with my DoC. Just asking, what are the rules for casting/unbinding with a multi-wizard squad, for example my Pink Horrors. In 40k, there is Brotherhood of Sorcerers, but in AoS, it appears to me that a ten-man unit with keyword wizard contains ten individual wizards! Is this right? I played it like this yesterday and it seemed wrong and broken. Can somebody please clarify the rules for multi-wizard squads?

It explains it on the Warscrolls in question, a unit of Pink Horrors can attempt to cast one spell and dispell one spell per turn. Hope that helps!

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

Thanks. Is this always the case?

The Warscroll will always tell you exactly how many spells a unit can cast/dispel. In terms of multiple model units that are wizards, the only other example I can think of off the top of my head is the 'Sisters of the Thorn' and they work in the same way, the unit can cast/dispel one spell a turn.

The unit itself is the wizard, the individuals in it are not. So a unit of 10 Pink horrors would count as a single wizard, not 10.

The unit itself can cast/unbind once, a unit of 10 cannot cast/unbind 10 times.

It also does not vary with unit size; a unit of 27 pink horrors is still 1 wizard, a unit of 3 pink horrors is still 1 wizard.

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.
