Is it a viable army to run just using Ethereal units and especially using the malignant box war scroll. can that be competitive.

ahhh dead people.

But on a serious note lol, there use to be a army ran in 1k games before the end times that was all etheral.

I may be wrong with the units its been a while but it was vampire lord with etheral, mass wraiths and banshees even as heroes.
I forget the core those I am thinking spirit hosts... Were they core?

Anyways yes you can but the problem is magic weapons and daemons. Etheral plan on people not wanting to spend money on magic weapons and daemons ect. But in aos magic weapos. Are built in and such so I am not sure how it would work. First thing to do would be see how many spells/magic weapons your player ase have. Or if they are daemon.

Hmm... For now i think that "etheral" rule allow you to ignore rend for attackers....

As for etheral army, it seems pretty strong on the papers because of tough fast units with mediocre damage output. Looks like fast Nurgle without self-healing
