So, I managed to get a peak at some of the newer cards, I feel like it is a great time to be a Khador player. A lot of our toys are pretty dang good now, and it was nice to see a shake up of our Warcaster stable.
I am real happy with Sorscha1 (she has always been my favorite), I am still on the fence about Sorscha2. I can't wait to get physical copies of the new cards and jam some games with her.
Iron Fang Pikemen, yes. They should be great. I loved them in MKII, MKIII should be even better for them. I was surprised to hear that the Winter Guard Rifle Corps can now take Rocketeers. Should be interesting to take them with Joe and either Irusk. Our ranged game feels better than ever with the near universal DEF drops on a lot of units. I really wanted Kossites to be good this edition. Time will tell on them, still not too enthused. Hopefully they will get a UA.
I feel much less of a need to take Mercenaries now after getting to see what some of our infantry can do. We seem to have some good answers to things from other factions. And have enough stuff to pose some real problems for them as well.
Our Warjacks seem to have gone through changes mostly for the positive. Behemoth is... well frightening. Beast-09 still seems to be a very solid choice. The Spriggan looks like it didn't really improve, but didn't get worse. I will still happily field it. The Marauder looks like it might see some table time now, with there being more 'Jacks on the table, I have a feeling that some good slams into squishy models or out of control ranges can be a real tactic now.
I haven't had a good look at the solos yet, would love to hear your opinions on how you think we are doing so far in MKIII.

I'm enjoying it as well, losing Mad Dogs of War made me sad, but now I run it with Irusk2 and it's almost more fun than it was last time. Sad about the changes to some of my favourite casters (Sorscha2 ) but I'm enjoying Vlad3 and Irusk2 a lot at the moment, branching into Strakhov at some point as well.
Couldn't agree more on Behemoth, it's hilarious. He's so so good. I also take less mercs, apart from Kell. Kell + Widowmakers + Widowmaker Marksman is a brutal, brutal package. If you get them onto any jack (except for a Menoth one) they'll wreck it's cortex every single time (short of ridiculously bad dice).

Well, what I've heard is that Khador has not been hit by the nerf bat so much when compared with Cryx and others.

Khador more or less avoided the nerf bat altogether and came out better for it. Our range game went through the roof, and a Behemoth is absolutely sick. Boosted blast damage for one focus is really mean.

My read is more warjack points + free focus on jacks + nerfed WGDS = Harkevich. Now I'm trying to decide how to support him.

I am pretty pumped that I can go about this edition with a different theme to my army as well. I ran very Mercenaries heavy, now I am going to try a pure Khador list and see how it goes. Still waiting on my faction deck to arrive, my FLGS had their order screwed up and now they are on backorder (dang it!).
