Insurgency forces aint big on proper organisations...

Bunch of blokes with AKs... A few RPGs and a couple of technicals.

All varies on whats locally available and whose willing that day to get stuck in.

The most organised of recent forces would have been 055 Brigade (or 55th Arab Brigade) but even this was generally deployed as small groups used to bolster more traditional tribal based forces.

I would have task organized forces. If you know you'll be conducting an attack you bring along a crew to isolate/suppress the objective, so some type of machine guns and RPGs, and an assault group with AKs, RPKs and an RPG or two.

Depending on how 'realistic' you want to get, have a VBIED crew to conduct your breach, followed by suppression and assault. A couple guys on motorbikes with cell phones to call in mortar rounds or coordinate/initiate attacks.

But the local warlord gonna bring his guys armed as they are... They don't have 'unit sets' of equipment.

Every time a terrorist dies a Paratrooper gets his wings.
