I'm starting a Warriors of Chaos army (Slaves to Darkness core with some units from each god-specific force to swap in as desired), and I'm just looking for tips on how to build the SoD core. I'm not a Min/Max WAAC player, but I definitely want my list to stand a chance. One idea I've found online was from a BoLs article featuring a cavalry-centric 2000 point list:

Looks like an solid list to me, but I'm just curious about how to build the Knights. I'm thinking Glaives to maximize the pain on the charge.

The second question is about building the Chaos Warriors I plan to get to round out the Khorne Bloodbound portion of my army. Do these units work better with two weapons, or with weapon and shield? I'm planning to use two weapons to fit with the KILLMAIMBURN!!!! theme of Khorne. Rerolling ones to hit definitely sounds handy as well.

Any comments or criticisms from experienced Chaos players?
