Hey

I was looking at a couple of the Slaves to Darkness units and then adding in a Daemon Cohort of Tzeentch.

I can't find the points cost for the cohort in my generals handbook though, does this battalion cost points?

The other question I have: Do battalions choices use up my force org requirements? For example I was looking @ this army

6 Screamers of Tzeentch

Herald of Tzeentch

Chaos Warshrine

15 Chaos Knights

Costs 2k without the formation.

Is this legal for pitched battles? I have battleline requirements within the cohort but do they count? I guess my allegiance would be to Chaos.

Oh great. Ty, didn't realize they had their own little section.

The question still stands though! If I take that battalion for example do I still have to fulfill battle line requirements?

Specifically would the above army be legal? Do the horrors count as battle line dudes even though they are in a battalion?

It should be fine. As long as you fulfill the requirements of the battallion along with the list of units in it, they'll count. It's not like they suddenly don't become battleline, leaders, or behemoths after all.

The 'Compendium' section covers all Units and Battalions which did not make it into a Grand Alliance battletome or has its own battletome. If they were in the Grand Alliance: Chaos battletome, then they would have been in the 'Chaos' section.

This sounds correct but I just wanted to make sure. Is there any rules section I can point to in order to back it up?

I mean it is extremely difficult to fit in another leader and 3 battle line units into certain battalions. Probably impossible for some!
