Trying to come up with the meanest list I can squeeze into 1000 points. What I've come up with has a lot of firepower but not very many bodies. Anything I can do to optimize it? Local players tend to go all-out WAAC so don't hold anything back.

CAD - Ultramarine Chapter Tactics - 998 points

HQ:
Librarian - Level 2 psyker, terminator armor, storm bolter, force staff, auspex

Elite:
5 Sternguard - 2 grav guns, 3 combi-grav, rhino

Troops:
2x5 Tactical marines - meltagun, drop pod

Fast Attack:
3 Bikers - 2 grav guns, 1 combi-grav, attack bike w/multi-melta
1 Drop Pod (for centurions)

Heavy Support:
3 Centurion Devastators (3 grav cannons, 3 hurricane bolters, omiscope)

If going real all nasty, how about this:

Join all Librarian into the Centurion Squad. So at even 1000pts level you get a Grav Star. Remember to try your best to roll for both teleport type power ("Electro Displacement", "Gate of Inifity" or "Magnetokenesis", etc., GoI being the best one) as well as Invisibility. These powers are always the top priority for a slow and "squishy" (compared to WK ) deathstar, with Tigirius and other 3 Libby, it maynot be hard. When you get both, roll the rest power for high RoF witchfire powers or those Ignore cover nova type powers, or just take Psychic sherik, this is your hope for dealing high model counts army.
Now your army may roll over most oppoent if you get these powers. Until you run into equally nasty Eldar Jetseer Council plus WK (min jet council, CAD with min Scatbike, single Warlock as HQ, and a WK could also fit in1000pts list), Daemon factory, or someone who can somehow move a Culexus into range of your Star.

Bravo. That does sound thoroughly broken. Sounds like it would be tough to take objectives though, if the enemy is smart and kills my troops while avoiding the deathstar.

EDIT: That terminator librarian is only 100pts at LV1 though.
