So, with Warseer dying, I've signed up over here and started a new plog.
I'd been working on an Eldar army on and off since around 2010. It was mainly just for me to enjoy the collecting and painting aspect of the hobby (think I played 1 game with it during that time). Then back last year I started having a clear out so sold the finished models on eBay.
The buyer though asked if I wanted to keep on painting so I have been adding to the army for him which has been great for me as I get the enjoyment of painting and know that they are fulfilling their tabletop destiny and someone else is enjoying using them.
Anyway, on to some pics. These are some of the Eldar bits I have painted in the past.
And here is my latest work (pics have come out a bit dark)

My buyer plays against Raven Guard fairly often hence the base.
Anyway, I will continue to post up progress on future work as well as putting up more shots of my older work.
C&C very welcome!

Very nice and very clean.
My only suggestion would be to try and pull it together with the base - right now they are quite incidental to the figures. A bit of colour other than the same tones all over could make a difference perhaps.
But to be honest that's not always what players care about on the table!

Wow, those Striking Scorpions look awesome mate!
Your Iyanden stuff looks pretty nice as well. Yellow is a bugger to paint, generally speaking.

Haha, glad I wasn't the only one who noticed
Nice Iyanden stuff, please share how you do the yellows. They seem effortless.

Those are some truly lovely eldar, mate. Now we just need a "Final Deletion" match between you and GrimDork to see who keeps the name.

Those Iyanden Eldar look pretty slick! Iyanden is probably my favorite canonical Eldar Craftworld color scheme, but even if I played Eldar I don't think I would use it because yellow is a pain to paint! You, however, have made it look awesome!

Thanks for the comments everyone, I'm really happy with the yellow on these. I know it can be a hard colour to get right but I actually really enjoy it. There will likely be more yellow things featured in time.
@Buttery Commissar - I'm not sure I understand what you mean about the bases. Could you elaborate?
For the bases I just go with this style as it can suit multiple gaming surfaces, rocky, grassy, ruins etc
@everyone who mentioned the name - as I picked my username I wanted GrimDork as that's what I am over on YakTribe (not that I'm a regular poster) but it was taken so I went for "TheGrimDork".
I didn't realise Dakka's original GrimDork was such a longtime member and prolific poster until I started looking in the P&M logs
Anyway a few closer in pics of some details on the Wraithknight,
Base
The pinky/purple on the rhino parts is meant to be where it has recently been hacked apart by the ghost glaive. Came out ok, but looks better in person.
For the face I tried a swirly nebula effect which I'm quite pleased with. I also have a Spirit Seer I'm working on so will repeat the sect on his blank mug.
And lastly here's something else from my back catalogue of work. Some rebel grotz for GoMo.
These were done for a comp on YakTribe back last year. The theme was 3 ages of the same model, I came 3rd!

Thanks for the comments everyone, I'm a nightmare for going back to my default lurker position unless I have anything new to show tho I do appreciate the comments.
Well, it's been an age since a post here but thought I should check in with an update.
Here's the latest Eldar work,
Wraithguard with D-scythes
Now with wraithcannons
I love magnets
Also someone to lead them (just noticed what a bad picture this is, sorry)
Not sure if I should add any runes, I always get chicken at this stage in case I mess anything up.
Group shot
And a WIP of what's coming up next,
Sorry, grainy pics again, need to play with my camera again and write down my settings.
Also, Shadow War Armageddon has really grabbed my attention recently. I managed to get one of the boxes and have played a few games.
Here's the start of my gang,
Back with more hopefully soon.
Thanks for looking. Please feel free to leave C&C.

@Theophony - Thanks, I was pretty much copying the GW video for the colour scheme but didn't have the right colours so made it up bit.
Wild rider red base coat, followed by agrax wash, then re-coat wild rider, then troll slayer orange, final highlight with 1:1 mix of troll slayer orange and dorn yellow.
I got another one finished,

Quite pleased with the purple veins/mottling on his skin.
Thanks for looking!

Just this evening finished Fuegan! I've had this one kicking around for years, nice to finally get round to getting some paint on him.
Was motivated to paint him due to Dakka's unofficial monthly painting comp. Should get back to finishing off that vyper.
I've tried to push myself a bit with some of the blending work on the head vanes and blade. Feeling like I'm starting to get the hang of it.

Well done. With that paint style and background it looks straight out of a White Dwarf, from 20 years ago.
