Hello warmachiners!

So I have or am gonna have a couple of miniatures i thought were super cool but now feel I should try to make them work in some army as opposed to floating around randomly. It'll also make me paint them.

So....Help me out determining who they might stand in for either Khador, Protectorate or cygnar....or mercs.

The first mini screams Ashlynn D'Elyse to me. The link goes to a write up of the prior edition of the rules.

The second one is a bit harder due to the mix of weapons.

Joan would definitely make a pretty good Ashlynn, although you probably ought to add a boiler to make it fit in a bit more. Maybe do some minor conversion work to change the crosses to fleur de lys.

I agree with nobody on the latter though: There's pretty much no options for those guys. With a LOT of conversion work (and I mean a lot), you could maybe turn the middle one into a femAxis?

Also does anyone know where to get backpack boilers?

You could order one from Privateer Press's online store. Would have to choose one from specific models though.

It looks like those Warsmiths also have boilers on the back, I'm not sure how those models are for removing and reusing them, but one of those might do in a pinch.

Speaking of the Warsmiths, You might be able to break up the unit and do solos, like a Khador Manhunter, or a female version the Mercenary character Acosta.

If you aren't afraid of a lot of work, you may be able to get the whole unit converted into Sam Machorne's Devil Dogs by replacing one of their hand weapons with a gun.

I like that acosta fellow...

Reaper makes some great pirates....you could easily make a devil dog group put of them.

Some one said that the girl with the hammer would make a interesting sorcha proxy. I can see that

The commander there....Irusk1 is easy, so is Strakhov I reckon (posture says Irusk, gas mask says Strakhov). Both are Khadoran warcasters.

Hummm....that's a real doozy. I can't think of many heavier armed dudes with guns that you'd only need 2 for? If you had 10-12 you could make a full unit of dawnguard invictors if you added a decent bayonet maybe? From the Retribution line. But as is, I'm struggling.

Turn that plasma looking rifle into a Cygnar Storm Gunner. Just have to add some bits and bobs to the end of the rifle.

Add a bayonet and some additional thingermabobs.....yeah I can see that. Good call.

Hmm. You could almost convert him to be Magnus the Warlord or Ragman.

Ah yeah, turn the wrench into a sword, give him a scattergun on the hip and a cape, and he could totally be a Magnus. Sort of.

With some slight changes to keep it looking old industrial/russin-esque

I reckon lascannon or autocannon is your best bet, since it's a single shot thumpy-knocky-downy-weapon but the base size is a bit different so you'd have to make sure you're on the right kind

It's a shame that you don't have Valhalans, they fit in well with the Kador theme.

Yah I've seen them and they are a perfect fit. When I bought a buncha used ig stuff I ended up with steel legion. In an effort to not be that guy with mountains of unpainted models I'm trying to use what I got.(I have already failed) As i don't think I'm ever gonna play 40k....steel legion it is.

I though about using my plastic IG...but..they look soooooo weird next to PP stuff. (next to everything actually) Steel legion looks like it at least sorta fits.
