Hello all,
I was curious, as I am sure this thread has been made before, but I would like to know some of your most amazing turns where all (or just one) of your units just went into awesome mode.

I just had one of these recently. I was playing my space marines against some Eldar at a tournament. He was playing a bike heavy list with a wraitknight. one turn 1, I had my Centurion devastator squad drop pod in, with tiggy in the squad, into his back lines. It was very risky. Tiggy, who rolled on telepathy, proceeded to psychic shriek a bike squad off the board, invis his squad, and then terrify another bike squad off of the board. Then the devastators who were loaded with grav, pulled down his wraithknight. Coming from the other side of the board was my bike command squad headed by a captain with a hammer, 4 grav guns, and an apoc... gunned down another bike squad. The rest of my units just watched and cheered them on.

Went on to nearly table him on turn 2. it was a devastating game.

There was one instance I had in 4th edition:

I had a Chaos Predator armed with heavy bolters and an autocannon. The rest of my army had been devastated (by three squads of devastators no less) and the predator had been immobilized with it's rear facing the enemy. The enemy packed no less than 4 Missile Launchers and at least two lascannons (forgot what the remaining devs had as they had been killed already, they weren't min-max squads so they had different weapons).

I had nothing else left. My defiler was destroyed, my berserkers dead, and my DP died unceremoniously to something else. I think he only had the devs left and either a Land Speeder or a Rhino-based tank (forgot which). All I had was the pred, which no longer counted as surviving troops due to being immobilized. It did however have Parasitic Possession, allowing it to attempt to repair itself at the end of every turn. It also had Mutated Hull, giving it +1 armor on all facings (this is important).

My opponent fired his devs at the tank. This was the miracle. Both lascannon shots missed, and the few missile launchers that did hit didn't roll enough to penetrate. It was my turn, I fired the tank's turret at the vehicle and by some miracle it actually not only managed to hit, but blow it sky high. It was the enemy's turn. Once more, his guns did nothing (Either missing or not rolling enough to penetrate). My turn again and I aimed the turret at them. Took out two marines. His turn again, once more nothing. My turn, pinged another two marines. This continued for a good few turns, with me pinging off enough marines to drop each squad under 50%. He kept shooting at it in the end, but did nothing. I managed to ping off two marines from his last squad, bringing it below 50%, meaning it no longer counted as surviving troops either. And on the same turn, the Parasitic Possession finally kicked in and repaired the Immobilized result.

This meant I ended the game with a unit that counted as surviving, while he had none.

If you do the math, It was insane how the autocannon can reliably ping off 2 marines a turn considering it did not ignore the marine's 3+ armor. The dude did not accuse me of using loaded dice since they were the store's, not mine. My predator became near-mythical that day as the "Pred that just won't give up". Unfortunately in the next game, it suffered an explode result on the first penetrating hit that happened, so I guess the karma balanced out in the end.

Note that we lost count of the turns after a while. Had we actually remembered, he would have won cuz he had at least one surviving squad up until the last turn. However it was a friendly game and the sheer awesomeness of it meant that he wasn't really ticked either, and was just glad to be a part of it.

WHFB orc off, last game of 7th edition.

Rolled Gork's warpath on my lvl 2 (multiple rounds of d6 str 6 hits, or templates, or something like that per spell).

Stomped a rock lobber with attached shaman. Killed them all. Paniced huge block of goblins with a hero off the board. Paniced spider riders across his line causing more failed panic checks amongst his chaff (never recovered). Stomped his giant and all his chariots to death.

Opponent was left with a block of arrow boyz (with general) and black orcs (with bsb). My Big unz held the charge against the arrow boyz, champion ate challenge first round and I flanked them then my BSB beat his general second round. My wyvern charged his black orcs, breaking them quickly.

Oddly enough when 8th ed rolled round we never had any problem with the so called 'unit killer' spells as we were both used to gork's warpath having such ridiculous results through 6th/7th.

Oh, I love sharing my two best IG stories:
- 6 veterans survived close combat with a Necron Overlord. In the next assault phase, they club the snot out of the Overlord and score two wounds, and the Cron fails BOTH of his 2+ armor saves, both of his RP, and dies. The remaining melta gunner snapshotted and exploded a night scythe next turn.

- A lone company commander killed two Canoptek Wraiths with his trusty las pistol. John Wayne couldn't have done better.

Playing doubles, Orks/tau vs IG/SM. I had a Warboss in mega armour who's squad of boyz was ripped apart by a wyvern and the following mob rule hits. He went on to crush 2 tactical squads, the captain, the wyvern, and a dreadnought (it exploded and killed him) but up to then he made all his 2+ saves/cybork FnP and the SM player rolled a bunch of ones. My Orks got tabled but Tau made mincemeat of the couple of vet squads left.

WAAAGH!!!

Think most of my best moments where being assaulted. On one a dread from wolves assaulted a chaos space marine squad and the (only) fusion hit him and blow it. Was named paladin xDDDD

On other game was a Cthan. He assaulted my ork warboss and his unit of bikes....and the orks killed him with the guns with 95249384789234 6s to hit xD

Well, also on a game vs wolfs, the classic wolfstar (4 or so marines on mount and a lot of small wolfs) assalted a spawn nurgle unit of 4 that I placed in front to try save my poor CSM army of being washed away...... Well, on their assault I lost 1 wound and I killed 4 small wolfs....on the incoming turns keep that way thanks to lucky throws gaining armor for the spawns xD. There was still 2 spawns when I already killed msot of his army and could assault the wolfstar with all my army haha

My most memorable turn was a "calling your shot" scenario.

A friend and I met up to play a game during 3rd one night but we procrastinated to the point where we only got through deployment before calling it a night.

As we were looking over the table I noticed that he had put his Razorback with his Chaplain and Librarian sheltered behind it for cover where my Thousand Son Terminators could get a shot at it with their Autocannons.

I told him I was going to win the roll to go first and annihilate his tank wounding both his HQs in the blast. His face when he failed the save on each character will stay with me forever.

What's left of Cadia

I had an interesting turn today where my sole remaining Veteran Squad managed to beat down half of a Tactical Squad and a Chapter Master in CC.

Orks vs Chaos on a planetstrike game.He (chaos) deployed his forces spread out on all of the objectives apart from his lords retinue of possessed which were 1" out of my deployment zone. My 10 tankbustaz in looted wagon with 3 rokkits managed to kill the entire squad in one volley, then my 2 units of Manz missiles managed to kill just enough cultists with their shootaz to make them flee off of the objective closest to me which left me unhindered in advancing up the rest of the board and claiming a pretty decisive victory. I think in the first turn I only missed a grand total of 4 shots because of lucky rolling.

This actually happened yesterday. There's a guy, he's THAT guy, he's always going on about how his Eldar are best, how he'll beat anyone, and he's a really sore winner. Really sore. I saw him have a game on Friday, they'd agreed 2000pts, and whilst watching, a few of us totted up points, as we knew he'd been cheating before. Poor Ork player had about 1850, whilst this guy had almost 3000. We all confronted him about it, he laughed it off, said it was just his better tactics, and that the Ork guy had more models so it was HIM that cheated! So I challenged him to a game, Sunday afternoon, 1000pts, and we both needed a clear list.

Sunday comes, his list just says 1000 points, lists his units, and gives a final point value on each. No upgrades listed, no squad sizes mentioned, nothing. I add him write it our properly, adjusted it when it turned out he had most of the values wrong, and then we set off.

Turn 1 was perfect. Librarian casts invisibility on my Knight Errant, so I've got an invisible Warlord, with thermal cannon, stormspear, melta gun and gauntlet, with sanctuary relic. Said Knight then proceeds to knock his fire prism down to one hull point and put two wounds on his Wraithknight.
My Knight Warden then proceeds to take out two Dark Reapers and cause wounds on his Wraithlord.
His half of turn 1: Fires everything he has at my two Knights, calls me a cheat for my invisible Knight, starts screaming "It's not invisible, I can bloody see it!" And manages to take a total of one hull point off my Warden.

It was beautiful to see this person in such fury, after having his cheating called out, being made to play fairly, and being shown how to really write a nasty list. He rage quit during turn 3, when he was down to just 2 Dark Reapers and a Spiritseer.

Never had a particularly good turn in my life. Dice hate me.

I do, however, have an EC that in every game he's fought has done ridiculous gak. Across multiple turns, however, so it does not fit this thread.

Playing against Eldar with my Daemons.
Turn 1, warp storm turned Eldrad into a Herald of Tzeentch. Opponent then rage quit, packed up and left. I won the game.

Playing against Eldar with my Renegades artillery army.
Fire once at everything in the army, everything in his army but the WK is now jinking. Score some casualties on the jetbikes, 2/4 fail moral and scoot boot right off the table. One of them had the warlord in them.

Playing against Tau with Renegades.
Opponent gets his riptides close to my army, wants to get within minimum range of my artillery, not that it makes a difference, its barrage!. Exactly 18 away from my 40 zombie unit in terrain. He has a unit of 2 tides, bundles of suits, 3 ghostkeels with drones for an army.
My turn - Earth shakers direct hit 3 squads of suits, remove them from the table. I fire at ghostkeels a few times and force him to use all his snap fire thingies. Use a wyvern to kill a bunch of the drones. Zombies made a perfect charge. 2 riptides locked in with 40 fearless models, no hit and run on the riptides. It was very satisfying. Opponent is a cool dude and we had a loud good laugh about it, he still brings it up when he sees my zombie hordes.
