In the Grand Alliance Chaos under the Slaves to Darkness it states that each unit can be given a Mark of a Chaos God, but it only states what each specific Mark does on a few models. Can I assume (for example) that the Mark of Slaanesh gives the same perks to a unit of Chaos warriors as it does to a Chaos Lord? The Chaos Lord on Manticore is slightly different but as it´s a different type of model I have no problem accepting that the rules change. Help a newbie out will ya .

The marks themselves don't give any benefit to the units, but certain models have abilities which give benefits to units that have certain marks. The best example is the Chaos Warshrine.

But in the Lord of Chaos/lord of Chaos on Daemonic Mount the Mark does give benefits, is this just to the lord?

Mark of Chaos, in the case of the Lord, grants only him an ability. Units like Warriors, Knights, Chariots, marauders, etc., can take the Keyword for a specific god. If they were to take Keyword Khorne, then they would get all of the buffs from any Khorne heroes they're in range of, as if they were Khorne Bloodbound. If the Lord were to take Keyword Khorne, then he gets a personal ability, plus he also gets all of the buffs from Khorne heroes.
