Subject: [Kickstarter] 3D Printable fantasy village terrain by Fat Dragon Games FINAL DAY!
Fat Dragon Games has launched our newest 3D printer terrain series DRAGONLOCK™ 2 on Kickstarter. DRAGONLOCK™ allows users to create their own building layouts and designs, and all pieces disassemble quickly and easily for convenient storage. Fat Dragon Games has been in tabletop terrain business for eleven years, and has successfully delivered seven previous Kickstarter projects, including our previous DRAGONLOCK™ Kickstarter that raised over $104,000.00.
THAT is an excellent product to fall in on. Way to go on putting that project together and giving it wings.
At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Of course backing this, after the great pieces Tom produced the files for in the original Dragonlock campaign there was no question about backing this one.
It certainly is going well, already 670 backers, over $69k, and still over 26 days to go.
Latest update is that a 'FULL Cemetery Set' is to be added as a FREE stretch reward. There really is too much for me to list all the printing files already released but it is worth everyones time to check it out IMO:
How about an awesome stretch of some wild west terrain sets with the same constructibility
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost in time, like tears...in rain

I have not tried scaling these to 15mm. While they can easily be sized to 15mm before printing, I do not know how the link system will work at that small size.

A western set is on our to-do list, but it would be separate from this campaign (it is high on my personal list though, I love Deadlands.)

Undoubtedly it will be busy trying to fill up the cemetery, which incidently just happens to be the focus of the next 3 stretch goals. The first of which, 'Cemetery Part 1' unlocks at $77,000.
Also there is a new 'add-on' been announced:
Market Add-on Set - $15

They definitely look like they could make some nice scenery. The ruins set looks like it would be really good for Mordheim and Frostgrave.
"Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. " - V

Wow, I haven't checked this since the first day but.. congrats! That's really impressive for 3D print files. Lots of really cool stuff coming out for 3D printing, makes me happy. If i wasn't all tapped out right now I'd be in on this too.

Bought a printer the other day just to get this stuff. Awesome new toy, pledged for everything on it. Slightly annoying the old stuff will be a couple of weeks before it comes through (when the pledge goes through?), as I wanted to start printing tomorrow!
Can't wait.... grrr... waiting

This has surpassed I think everyone's expectations time and time again.
The popularity of 3D printed terrain - GOOD 3D PRINTED TERRAIN that is - goes from strength to strength.
Automatically Appended Next Post: This kickstarter, Dragonlock2, finished at $192,157 with 1,475 backers, this compares to $104,426 and 1,276 for the original kickstarter from 2015.
All 68 stretch goals were unlocked and an extra 'Thank You' Gallows was thrown in at the end by the creator.
Congratulations to Tom (the creator) and all his team at Fat Dragon Games - and congratulations to all the other 1, 474 other backers as well.
