I keep my Project Logs updated pretty regularly with my painting, rules, and gaming progress. I was shocked to see that the last time I was able to get models on the table was July 29th! That was the last time I really did anything game related. I had been getting games in every other weekend, but then real life got in the way.

How about you? When was the last time you got toys on the table?

Three times so far this year. Once in Feb, August, and again last week, in which I had to leave halfway through as my wife had forgotten her keys. No way near enough.

I just got a 40k game in Monday.

Before that, I demoed an AoS game in early June.

Previous game was a 40k game in April.

It’s been a long, dry spell around here. My last FLGS closed about a year ago. The replacement nearby never got their scene off the ground, so after going there for a while I just kinda stopped. A couple of weeks ago I explored a new place I heard about a bit south. This week I actually made it down for their 40k night. It’s a 45 minute drive, but worth it.

Hopefully my schedule will allow me to keep playing. Feels good to push a little plastic around again. Chatting with the good folks here helps scratch the wargaming itch, but dice need to be thrown down from time to time.

Kill team Sunday, and a few games of Marvel Knight Models a few weeks back.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I play X-wing every week. Have played X-wing every week since starting in September 2015.

40K? Twice this year. Which is more than all of 2015. Infinity, only once this year, Malifaux, that was back in 2015 as well.

Frostgrave, a couple of games last winter.

In late July we moved from near a USAF base in New Mexico with a small FLGS to southern Oregon with nothing closer than an hour one-way.

Supposed to meet some guys for some historical wargaming next Saturday but that's a 45 minute one-way drive. We've essentially retired to a gaming desert.

.... 2012 for me. I've been away for a bit. I did buy the Kill Team box and the current IG book so hopefully my penal legion will once more see action soon.

I get gaming days once or twice a month - usually get a couple of games in on each of those days.

The last time was tonight (local club) for mandollies and beer.
The next time will be two sundays' time for the monthly meet.

It might pick up next month. I might get 3-4 meetings in.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

It's been about 5 months for me. Moved to 2 difference cities in the last year so my models have been packed away for the most part. I'm going to try for a match at Thanksgiving though (Canadian Thanksgiving so Oct 8thish hahah)

I have done some painting but not much just haven't had much time with the different jobs ivw started and the moves. Busy time for me. I did start playing magic recently because my friends around here play and I can fit in an hour for a few games of magic much more easily than I can a 3 hour game of fantasy... although I really want to play.

Local store back in my hometown that I used to frequent has dropped fantasy for the most part so hard to find a game there unless I want to play kings of war (not interested) or 40k (need the newest editions of the books so maybe)

Sad day when you realize you haven't had anytime to play the games you really like but life gets so busy sometimes...I can still dream of fantasy though ahaha

Geez, this thread is making me sad.

I spent the last week's club meeting painting instead of gaming, but I think I had figs on the table 3 weeks ago. Unless something comes up I game every other Thursday.

Gaming has become much more important to my enjoyment of the hobby since I joined/formed a game group about 6 years ago. At this point if I wasn't gaming at least monthly I'd probably cut my involvement in the hobby way back and focus my energies on some other hobby with a social aspect.

Played a big samurai game using Taiko! rules last night. As usually for a samurai game it looked lovely but the rules were not great so we'll try a new ruleset next time. Might play Napoleonics on Thursday.

Rust belt

Been so busy with a new career I haven't had time to do much of anything. I think February of this year was the last time I played anything involving miniatures games. Just to tired from work to go anywhere or do anything. In bed at 2000 hrs, up at 0500, rinse and repeat. Once I get home from work I just don't feel like going anywhere to play. I do bust out a few board games that I can solo play that don't take more then an hr.
