Hello !
I have just finished a crazy day of miniatures assembling.. I have fully assembled my thunderwolf cavalry squad and my first rhino.
I had some trouble gluing the top part of the rhino (the last big part you glue). It was my first time assembling a rhino and I put too much glue trying to fit the top part. Because of this, there is some place that the glue came out of the joint and there are some on the miniatures itself (a lot at some places..).

I have two questions concerning this problem:

1. Is there any way for me too remove this excess of glue ?
2. If not, with the primer and the paint, is to something that will be visible ?

Thank you very much for your answers,
And sorry for my bad english

Were you using plastic glue or super glue? And how much is a lot?

As a general rule I feel the areas and compare them to the rest of the join. Is it raised? If so then scrape it down. Is it a different texture? If so smooth it out or rough it up. Heck, cover it with sculpting putty and work with that if it's an odd area (like fur on space wolves).

Hope that little ramble helped. Also your English was fine, the only thing that post was missing was pictures so we can see what this glue problem is like.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

If it's just a thin layer, it shouldn't be noticeable after you primer the model. If it's thicker (leaving 'drops' in the seam/joint), you should be able to carefully sand, file, or scrape the excess model glue once it has set.

I am using plastic glue. This is more some ''spot'' of glue on the visible face of the rhino (flat area). I have joined some picture.

Leave it to dry completely...24 hours to ensure the plastic has re-hardened (plastic glue makes it melt and go soft).
Once it's fully dry take a modelling knife, or scraping tool and gently remove the excess pushed up in the join. Then take a file or some sandpaper and gently smooth it all down.

This should fix the mess and also eliminate most of the join lines completely so you're left with a smooth finish.
