Hey all, this army is about 1800 non competitive. My main question is if this is legal. I would appreciate any help

1K Sons -
1x Exalted Sorc
1x Sorc
1x Unit of Rubric Marines with cannon
1x Unit of Scarab Terms with cannon
1x Magnus the Red

Allied:
Nurgle
1x Chaos Lord, term armor, mark of Nurgle
1x unit of 6 Plague Marines 1 plasma gun w/Rhino
1x unit of 7 Plague Marines 1 plasma gun w/Rhino


Please let me know if this is legal and also how it would fair in a tournament even though this is only going to be used at my house against friends.

I still need to define the points. I would want the Sorcs to both have discs so i may drop a plague marine from each unit

Two things: One, this is NOT legal. You're missing the second troops from your TSons CAD. (Unless the Scarab Termis are troops? But I coulda sworn they were elites.)

Two, I'd drop some Plague Marines in favor of another special weapon in each squad.

Edit: Oh, and this is also illegal because you can't have an Allied Detachment the same as your primary detachment. That being said, most people will be cool with you doing different Traitor Legions.

O shoot your right! I do need another Troop choice. what do you mean they cannot be the same? as in the same faction?

That is correct. If you were going to enter a tournament, you'd have to have a different Primary detachment.

But! Ask the people you're playing with if it's okay to do that. Most players will be fine with it.

Actually that first list is aaalmost legal if you call the thousand sons a war coven and the Death guard a CAD.

But you need to add one auxiliary to the TS (e.g a predator or helldrake ) and you can get the Grand Coven detachment bonuses too.

Awesome... maybe ill drop a unit of plague marines and throw in a helldrake or Land Raider.
