I have come across a supposed White Dwarf (Jan.) Pic showing plastic sisters. It seems the endtimes are upon us. If I get anymore I'll update; and no I do not have the magazine myself.

I considered adding them, but I thought a sisters only thread would be appreciated; perhaps i'll change the title to White Dwarf January Leaks - Plastic Sisters, Ad-Mech, and Inquisition

And just after I blew all my money on blood bowl, can't say I regret that though. But now money is gonna be tight. The deciding factor for me though will be the look of the regular troops, and if they get their own book. They do look good in gold, but i really liked the black and red...hmm.

They look nice, but I'm happy I threw my money at Ragingheroes's TGG2 kickstarter instead. Then again, these GW plastic sisters will probably come in a year before TGG2 finally ships out.



Either way, both companies' Seraphim equivalents' wings look really chunky.

At least GW's will be plastic and not cast in greasy, hard to clean, not to mention awfully brittle resin. I've learned my lesson with that stuff from their first KS.

Hah. I totally agree. However, I'm more of a fan of painting personally, so the final result is much more important than the journey.

Speaking of brittle, I'm rather curious how much punishment those fiddly bits of "flying base" parchment and Celestine's halo can take.

I know a few people that'll get endlessly aroused by this and have waited for this for forever.

Now if only Fantasy comes back and Skaven get a re-release. Then my faith in GW may be fully restored after years of treating its customers like crap.

Oh and fix the balance of the games jeez.

it appearse that saint celestine gets a new model, so she most likely will get printed rules. So a new codex seems very likely

So the end is certainly near... Plastic Sister... Well, let's wait and see how many kits are around...

Also unless she's flying next to 2 Seraphim Superiors... it looks like SoB might have a new Jump Pack unit focused on melee rather than gunslinging.

Could be Celestians or the like acting as a honour guard, judging by the white stripe through the hair, which IIRC is a sign of seniority within the orders.

I can finally get my three Ordo and their old Chamber Militants represented! I'm so happy.

Shame these weren't a month or so earlier; I'd have nabbed a Celestine to go on top of my Crimbo tree.

AoS is really well balanced, has Skaven. I play both, and in fact Skaven have a really competitive edge with one of the best units in the game.

Lots of people are going to be glad they were wrong today! In hindsight the person that was convinced Atia had reneged on her 'Plastic Sisters' rumour probably wishes they hadn't doused themselves in negativity...

These are awesome. Can't wait to see the rest!

I'm not a fan to be honest, I much prefer the metals.

I think most people were expecting that any plastic Seraphim kit would have an alternate build. I'll be interested to see if the Living Saint is a clampack or included as an alternate construction of the Seraphim Superior.

Also:

I mean, yeah, plastic Sisters, I'm all kinds of up for that, but a plastic female Inquisitor AND a new Magos that might be even better than the Dominus kit? Gak me, this is going to hurt, I think I might have to redirect my new PC monitor fund into models.


EDIT: This frakking postal strike better not delay my WD. And that I can feel that way about WD again is awesome.

I really like the Magos. That's where the keys from the Rumour Machine are from then. Is that all the Sisters we're getting atm?

I can live with the old models either way, but new Repentia and possibly some new units would be amazing. Seems likely we will see at least one dual kit. Didn't one of the rumors say new dual kit on larger bases? Maybe it's these Seraphim or whatever they may be called.
