So, this is a very subjective question, and not meant to be a post just to complain, but I'm honestly just a little curious.

Why are kustom stompas not ITC legal? Anyone know if they were ever considered?

My thought is that if the buzzgob's big mek stompa is allowed for 400 points, then a kustom stompa doesn't sound too bad (they are both out of the same book). Plus, they allow kustom battle fortressess.

On the other hand, kustom stompas can be pretty good for their price, and the big mek stompa is awful cheap, but in my opinion has pretty lackluster firepower. On a kustom stompa, for example, you can get one with 2x 36" range 7" D blasts for 500 points, IIRC. But if they're concerned about double D blasts on a 500 point model, no reason to toss the baby out with bathwater, so to speak.

So, again, not complaining, I think some big time ITC tournament players frequent this forum, honestly just curious. Though, I do have one 1030 point kustom stompa, and working on another one currently, so I guess I'm not entirely unbiased.

Have you searched their forum for a discussion on it?

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?

Hrmm, I honestly didn't know they had a forum. I thought it was just a ruleset, though that does make sense. I did a forum search here, but not there.

They are presented by Frontline Gaming, who hosts their forum. I believe access can also allow you to vote on some of the decisions, but I could be wrong.

Some of their decisions seem to be another form of power-gaming to me.

Right, I'm somewhat familiar with the the FLG store and site, though not enough so to know they had a forum, apparently.

Much of it is power-gaming, which I am generally not, but and like I said, I'm honestly just curious to see what they thought, or if they considered it at all.

Imperial armor : 8 - raid on kastorel - novem (sp?).

It's an old book, from I think 2008, but some aspects of it are still utilized in ITC (again, like the buzzgob stompa).
