This week I have added another unit to my WW1 Mesopotamian Collection with these fine chaps joining up.

From the wonderful (would be even better if they got their fingers out and did some Cavalry) Woodbine Design Company these Figs will form the 20th Punjabi Regiment.

No rest for them as they went straight from the paint table to the gaming table for our Ctesiphon refight (Still ongoing).

Very cool, are you doing some uprising forces as well? the problem with British forces is they're awfully dull color-wise.

Mesopotania is a different campaign. It's still British Empire vs Ottoman Empire (with German support) but the local Arabs don't care for either side and are happy to have a crack at both sides.

These miniatures look excellent, very inspiring. Which company makes the buildings?

I've just been eyeing up a Rolls Royce Armoured Car for my emerging WWI Arab force.

Cheers for the kind words, I do have a small amount of Arabs myself including a Camel mounted unit, I am looking at getting some Cavalry soon.

As for the buildings I have to plead ignorance at the moment, they were donated, already painted to my gaming room by one of the regular attendees (lots of stuff gets donated, basically I store everyone's kit !

They are great buildings and I use the same ones for a background when posting pics of new figures, they set them off nicely.

Some great Armoured Cars out there I think the Empress Miniatures one may end up in my collection sooner rather than later.

I was looking at the 1st Corps one which is slightly less detailed but £10 cheaper. Laurence had nine of them. I'll be happy with two.

They'll go with these very WIP Artizan Arabs.

What rules system is this?

Were pith helmets reall that huge?

Rules are If the Lord Spares Us by toofatlardies, they are for 15mm Figs but work fine with 28s.

Bigger hat more protection from the sun !
