Hi!

I want to play 5 big flying demons. The past has shown, that this is a very good tournament level army (even if I could not believe it at first). But it can do a lot of stuff:

- In Kill points you offer not many targets
- You can gather points with Psi-Powers, killing and summoning to points

Against very shooty armies like Eldar and Tau you fly around, kill stuff and wait for the right moment to land. Against imperial Knights you can even go into melee and kill them before they stomp. Against deathstars you keep flying...

At the moment I have 2 ideas:

First one:

Tetrad

Demon Prince of Khorne
Flying
1- small gift
2* medium gift
+ Skulltaker

Demon Prince of Nurgle
Flying
1- small gift
2* medium gift
Psi 3

Demon Prince of Slannesh
Flying
1- small gift
2* medium gift
Psi 3

Demon Prince of Tzeentch
Flying
1- small gift
2* medium gift
Psi 3
Impossible Robe

+ CAD

Lord of Change
1* small
2* medium
Paradox

2*10 Brimstones

This are exactly 1650 points. 13 psi dice. Khorne offers a D-weaopn, Slannesh has his whip (str. 7 or 10 with Biomancy), All 4 Princes get the Tzeentch Warlord Trait and the other nice extras of the Tetrad. I will use the Tzeentch warpstorm, because I think it is less "deadly" for demons than the normal one and I have no way to control it.

The other idea is the following:

Oracle Formation

Kairos, orcale of Tzeentch

Lord of Change
Level 3
small gift
2* medium gift
Impossible Robe

Lord of Change
Level 3
small gift
2* medium gift
Paradox

Lord of Change
Level 3
small gift
2* medium gift

+ CAD

Belakor
2*10 Brimstones

Kairos is the Warlord, so I will take the normal warpstorm, since I can control it a bit. I will also use the better mission objectives from Tzeentch.
I have all the Benefits from Oracle (reroll of so many 1s) + Belakor, who is a melee monster, with the option to jink and offers all the nice little telepathy powers (shriek, invisibility, shrouding...)

I have 17 Psi dice and all the powers from telepathy + chande discipline + whatever I roll.

Now I am unsure which list is better. The difference is huge...

Kairos Warlord Trait + his reroll or "4 Warlords" ?
More psychic dice or slannesh whip and D-axe ?
Always good psychic powers with Belakor and Kairos or the better melee profile of the princes ?
How good is Belakor just as a "demon prince" ? He has armorbane, Fleshbane, 2+ Jink, psi level 3, good powers, 4+ save, eternal warrior...
And all the small difference...especially all princes with str 7 (or more, like str 9 on tzeentch with the staff), 4 warlord traits, 5 melee fighters instead of 4 (Kairos does not count), the much better melee profile of demon princes and so on.3

So what is your opinion on this ? What option is better ? Or is there an even better option for 5 big demons ?

Well, we have a player here who plays the Tetrad with four Princes, three Soulgrinders, and ten exalted Herolds. This comes down to 2500 pts.
Its a Marine killer list.
