The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

It could be also a more generic term to encompase a society, not race. Just how many people say they are from the human race instead of saying their country??
Meh. Aeldari I tentatively like. It still sounds close to Eldar and had the core word in there. They could just as easily have gone with Wyrdstar Aerldraneth or whatever.
the rune looks like a combination of the path of command (autarch) and the infinity symbol (wraith). this to me means either an eternal conflict/war, or command after death. thoughts?
.. wasn't Nightbringer involved in some way with the eldar losing their ability to reincarnate ..?
or was it the Fall/Slaanesh in general that did that ?
edit :
aha :
"The Birth of Fear
There was a time when Eldar were not riven by fear, and did not live their lives in mortal apprehension of the dark fate that awaited them upon death. A warrior could meet his foeman without a thought for his mortal shell ; his soul would live on, reborn as a phoenix from the flame.”
...here comes the description of the apperance of Necron and C’tan (Eldar call them Yngir), and Eldar fight against them (great Eldar heroes, Ulthanash, Eldanesh (I have always thought it is the same person), and Khaine himself) ....
„ Then came Kaelis Ra, the Deathbringer (obviously Nightbringer). Its rampage stained the stars with blood and none could stand against it, for it wielded the power of death itself. Populations fell before its scythe. Its very gaze slew even the great Eldar heroes. Those that died lost everything, even their souls.”
Thanks to help of Vaul and Laughing God (Is he Loec from High Elf legends? Eldar and WFB Elves worship the same gods after all?) Khaine and Eldar defeat Khaelis Ra. But ...
„ But the victory came at a price. Shards of Yngir’s flesh driven deep into Khaine’s body by the cataclysmic demise of his foe, melted in the fire of the War God’s wrath. The poison flowed into his veins, forever tainting his physical incarnation with the aspect of the Reaper.” (hence Dark Reaper aspect warriors)
„ Kaelis Ra cannot truley die, for it is death incarnate. Raging at its defeat, its quintesence howled throughout space, entering every one of the Eldar race and cursing them with the terror of the grave. Thus it was, that the seed of the Eldar’s downfall was sown, and ultimately, the way of reincarnation was closed to them forever.”"

As for the symbol, I'm hoping we get a new Iyanna model.

Slaanesh steals their souls as soon as they die unless they manage to capture them in a soulstone to later put into the inifinity circuit of their craftworld, or whatever is left of it after Eldrad's screw up.

Avatar of Ynnead would be a more logical step after Death Masque and Gathering the Storm I than "resurecting" Iyanna Arienal that had a brief moment of existence in 3rd and was replaced by Yriel as a "face" of Iyanden...
And I realy hope, that "warrior in red" is not a rebrand/resculpt of any previously known Eldar character.
Well, at least, we got confirmation the next book will focus quite a bit about the Eldars.
"Gathering of Storms". This is all under the sign of gatherings, isn't this? I'm expecting special rules allowing to play all Eldar factions in just one detachment. Like Castellans of the Imperium.

Wouldn't mind seeing a points adjusted Wraithknight, and Wraithlords being squadroned.
Hmmm. I think it would be more about adding rules for new models and "fluffy" detachments/formations according to the campaign's story.
End Times for Warhammer Battle was never about making things balanced, just moving the story forward (and, yeah, telling an actual story). I feel this is the same pattern, here.
Mad Doc Grotsnik wrote: Is Deathmasque a must-read then? I must admit, it fair passed me by.
Fluff wise it's generally consider a steaming pile of Squig droppings, but I feel the bit about Ynnead is something that will be important going forwards.

The rune has elements of:
Striking Scorpion(the delta with the line and triple lines, along with the 'pincers' off the top)
Saim-Hann's "Cosmic Serpent" or the Wraithguard/Wraithlord's pseudo-infinity icon
The "tail" doesn't really match anything I've seen. Closest is Autarch.
