I put together a few scenarios for Marvel Universe today. They look fine on my screen, not too sure how readable they are on other folks though.

Also got the MK3 cards in War Room 2 so I could play around with list building in the new edition.

Ork player starting up Space Wolfmen and their wolfy wolves. I had the models from the stormclaw box so I figured, what the heck. Not touching wulfen though because the models look stupid. I mainly want the gunships.

Waiting on bolters and combi weapons in the mail because for some reason games workshop doesn't like to make sprues that come with the damn codex upgrades on them.

Painted up 4 marines so far and currently painting my rune priest which I just did a weapon/head swap on krom dragongaze. SO MUCH DETAIL. I am not used to it.

Got my first game of Warmachine in a long while in today. We just did the battlegroups, and the game was Cygnar vs. Retribution (me). Surprisingly enough, I managed to win that game (although the fact that my opponent was kind of guiding me in places is probably the reason for that)

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

Played first two games of Silver Tower. There were 5 of us, so I played the monsters (who die super quick!).

Lots of fun. Had one horror corridor (every time you moved on a 1 or 2 you stopped then and there, and also on a 2-3 you had to stop (even if you passed the first one), and on a 1 you stopped and took damage!).

The game clearly has quite limited re-playability, with only 8 scenarios, but it was still quite fun.

Today, Imperial Knights: Renegade came in the mail. I'm so excited, I can't wait to start putting the Knights together. Of course, it may be a while before I can use them since I need to paint them in subassemblies, but since my Tau Stormsurge was done that way and was well worth the wait, I'm sure this will be too! I'm also going to play a game of 40k with a friend later, and maybe I'll get more done on my current painting project, the Bloodthirster.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000

Fixed my Stormblades (including one that I thought was a lost cause).

Fixed my Thunderhead

Fixed my Gallant

Started work on my Stormlances (assembled the horses and put them on the bases), everything else is very much "paint first."

On a surly Warboar, leading the Waaagh!

After sitting in the stash of unbuilt minis for two years...shame on me...I finally began work on my Forge World/Warhammer Forge Skaven Warlord on Brood Horror.
After giving it a soapy bath and a nice scrubbing, I removed the model from the resin "pegs" and cleaned all the mold lines. I assembled the body of the Horror, i.e. tail, legs and will let that set overnight and tomorrow will green stuff the gaps for appearance and to strengthen the joins.
Now I have to figure out what kind of square base this goes on. For some reason, at some point in the past I removed the base from the bag and FW now supplies these with only Oval bases. So if anybody reading this knows what size square/rectangular base this model goes on, drop me a PM please. Thanks!

I finally decided to paint up one of my DE Raiders. I've had it assembled and basecoated black for 2 years now, but it has been gathering so much dust the colour is back to gray
So after dusting it off, I think I am settling for purple as the new base colour for my DE.

Not sure how well they would work, but the Ravenwing Accessory sprue comes with a pair of Assault Cannons. I thought if I ever got another Razorback I would try to fit them on there somehow. Might have to trim some stuff to make them fit though.

I've been looking at picking up some of those on Ebay, but I almost think they might be a bit too small/thin. I think it's ridiculous that GW doesn't provide the AC option with the Razorback kit, might be time for a kit upgrade so I don't have to do all this extra running around for something that should be included in the box.
