Painting flesh and sucking at it really hard.

Finished painting my last Warhammer Quest model today. Now it's time to figure out how the bases will look.

Are you guys talking about the assault cannons from the master of the ravenwing landspeeder? Those are reasonably sized. Think they *are* thinner than the dreadnought variant and you'd probably want a housing for them. The thing they come with for mounting is meant for them to be hanging and not popping up so you'd have to do some figuring.

I put the Batsignal together tonight, my first time working with MDF.



The faceplate is blutak'ed togethr, for painting. In saying that, I don't really know how I'd go about painting MDF.

That's foreign territory for me too.

Today I finally found that last missing tub of bits for my space marines. Seeing about trading some of them off and i really need to take a proper inventory.

Finished agrellan earth or whatever it's called to put crackly bases on the last of my Warhammer Quest figures. Only thing I've got to do now is edge the bases with black to cover up my oopses and that project will be done.

EDIT: Bases edged and minis resting comfortably in the battlefoam box insert (though I had to do foam-ectomy on the high elf character's compartment; her reed-slender stave was going to snap off if I tried to store her in the original "laser-cut" space.

My next up item is also my current last set of miniatures left to paint as in back to zero minis in the painting queue. Wife picked me up 3 boxes of Battle of Vedros so I could either sell them to hopefully get back the money OR paint an ork horde of 48 boyz, 15 nobz, 3 deffkoptas and da Boss.

Bought my pink paint from my FLGWS, and have started painting my monolith pink.

I lost a bet, lets just leave it at that...

I described hulk as the size of a dreadnought before. I was wrong. I was very, very wrong. He is at least 1.5 inches taller.

Today I'm doing up the Bloodthirster's base. The model should be completely done by tomorrow night, depending on how tired I am after work. I'm also working on my Imperial Knights. I've built the Icarus Autocannon and missile pod, and am currently working on the Avenger Gatling Cannon.

Painted up my Knights Models Gambit that arrived today:

Starting to assemble my first box of Militarum Tempestus Scions for an army of them. I'm really excited to figure out how I am going to paint them.

Slowly started work on my ltd ed imperial space marine. Too many distractions to get any good progress made though.

Making an Imperial townhouse for my Elder Scrolls stuff. Eugh, its obtusely large. ¬¬

Played Thyra vs Sorcha 2 in a 75pt warmachine game.
Great back and forth game and absolutely love Thyra and what options she brings to the army.

Also setting up to pull apart a unit of 2nd hand vengers tomorrow and then pin and reassemble on the weekend.

Keep looking at boxes full of 30K forgeworld stuff and wonder when the hell I am going to get to them with all the warmahordes I am playing.

Reading the Night Lords novel "Soul Hunter," and now I think I want to make my MT traitors. Hmmmm.

Putting my second box of Flesh Hounds together (WHFB Chaos Warhound models). Possibly also going to continue working on assembling the first of the Knights from Imperial Knights: Renegade. My hobbying isn't helped by a strained wrist, either...

Both of us had terrible, terrible rolls for much of the game. - Especially Batman. And when Batman wasn't screwed up by bad rolls, Poison Ivy was messing with his mind. The game ended in a draw, 21 victory points to me, 20 to Batman.

Went through HH Masterclass Vol.1. Streamlined like hell, compared to the old Masterclass books :|

I used my flight from Shanghai (China) to Belgrade (Serbia) to analyze missions and start preparing myself for upcoming 40K tournament.

Today, I'm cleaning up some mars attacks US soldiers and USAriadna grunts to bolster my existing USARF forces. Got a few more coming in the mail. Including the mars attacks guys as it may do well to have extra soldiers for zombie games and the like.

Just bought a Gripping Beast Anglo-Saxon starting warband. SAGA looks like a lot of fun!

Gonna try and finish up Mister Graves before I head out to play Netrunner today.

Played 3 games of Fuse. It's a great filler game that can never take longer than 10 minutes (that's all you have to defuse everything). Here's a short link explaining.

Drunk determining if I should buy the Avengers team for KM Marvel game.

I just played a game of 40k and got my butt handed to me thanks to sloppy play. On a more positive note, me and my friend (and opponent for the aforementioned game) bought and split the Deathwatch Overkill set (I took the Marines, he took the Genestealer Cult). I also was astonished to find not one but TWO of the limited edition Imperial Space Marine at the store; I just had to get one!
