On page 26 there are a bunch of respirator heads on blood raven scouts with the NVGs attached.  Are these the head from the SM Commander box woth the NVGs and some GS/putty thanks?  (These are the first scouts I have seen that dont suck because of that horrible jaw)

Second question similar idea, do the NVGs fit on the standard heads for SM?  IE the terminator SGT head, TAC squad head, DEV ROBO head?  Thanks.

dont know if they fit or not but the scouts you're on about are all using the sniper helmet.
there is one of these heads in a box but i think there is only one/box.They could be cloned from gs molds but thats a guess.

They're just Sniper Scout heads with a GS rebreather added.

The main parts of the goggles are molded onto the scout heads. It's only the lenses that are seperate pieces.

2. For clarity that head inparticular, only comes with the non-sniper scouts? Y/N... B/C its not shown on the box break down for the snipers on page 74 of WD 317. Thanks.

To be honest I really don't think the heads from regular plastic marines would look right. Remember that old blood raven army building article from the UK GW site? Back before the first plastic scouts came out the author of that article had some plastic scouts mixed in with the previous metal scouts and they were nearly indistinquishable. That leads me to one conclusion- just as the plastic marine heads on metal scouts looked stupid so will the plastic marine heads on plastic scouts. Sorry dude. I agree with Insaniak- the rebreathers in that picture are sculpted on- you can tell by the slight asymetry in some of the hole placements.

Aren't the plastic scouts a bit taller and bulkier than the metals though? So maybe it would work... It would also depend on which plastic marine heads you use. GW sized the bare heads down a touch on the latest Marine sprues.

Alot of heads work on the scouts.

I am using hooded heads from Woodelves and bretonian fantasy boxes, just to give you an example of diversity they are capable of.

Not without cutting off the neck, and even then the regular heads are a fraction larger.

Guard heads, and Empire Militia or Soldier heads both fit fine, though,
