Anyone have any suggestions as to where to get plastic wings for some vulture kroot?

The best I can figure out is to model some out of green stuff, make a mould and resin cast them myself but I would rather just dish out some $$$ and get some.

Drano doesn't exactly scream "toy" to me.

Wings from furies would probably work. The same with dark elf harpy wings.

*Edit* I didn't see that you said plastic, so I dont know then.

I've heard people mention that there are some heroclicks type models with wings you can use. Apparently the common ones can be bought pretty cheap on ebay...

Aren't the Bretonian pegasi plastic? But I'd think that would be pretty expensive to buy just for the wings. But then you could use the guys as regular knights, I guess.

The most appropriate plastic winks I can think of are the wings from the balrog model in the heroquest sets. (old old stuff and you only got one of those per box)

nah, make them some jetpacks - either lo-tech that they've made themselves or hi-tech if they're supplied (or bought or stolen) from another race. Or if you need a real easy option, how about Kroot standing on top of modified Tau Drones, like flying skateboards?

You could always trim up the clear plastic from the blisters and make insect-like wings for the Kroot. Mount them with greenstuff and use a sharpie (or other permement ink marker) to draw on veins. It should be a cheap alternative.

The bret pegasus knights wings are on their own separate sprue. Might be a bit big for a large unit of these guys, but it could work. I believe the recent photos from the 40k tournament at Baltimore Games Day showed a unit of Beastmen with these wings in a Chaos army- I'm guessing they represented Furies.

Looks like he used 40mm bases for more stability.
