I got 2 of the first style DP's in today and they look even better in person than i thought they would, excellent work.

So here is the actual finished DP Mark 2:





















Since the last time announced a model for sale the thread got instantly derailed with off-topic navel-gazing. I'll just announce it hear. So hears what you get:


The Kit:

She comes is 7 socketed parts: legs, torso, right arm w/ humanoid hand, left arm with crab claw, two wings.

Heads:

They're 3 heads included: a horned head w/ hair, one with large horns & tentacle pony-tail, and a Diaz-style daemonette tentacle head w/ 18 full pose-able tentacles! I will probably to at least two more head variants.

Weapons:

Their are 3 weapons: a spear, sword, and thorn whip. Additional bits include: optional armor plates. a shoulder pad for the right arm, a full breast plate & back plate, left and right spiked and jeweled armor breast cups (in case you only want cover one breast), and a cloth-like bikini top.


I'll be posting up some additional pictures of the parts not shown above shortly, the kit will still be $50 and should be up on E-bay by Friday. Other things:


1. DP Mark 3 is being worked on, and should be ready this week.
2. The Soul Grinder is undergoing some extensive HR Giger inspired carving and detailing.
3. The large KOS is getting re-worked to bring out the musculature, and anatomy.
4. My re-envisioned fiends are nearly done, save for the alternate heads.


...and work permitting I may even paint a squad of daemonettes...hah!

Just a tidbit question, ok Im a little fuzzy chaos wise, but I am assuming that is a single horn on the left side of her head, if so, isnt it more of a tzeench thing to have the asymetrical horns? am I wrong?

Yeah, were's your new stuff man? The 6th edition Daemonettes (Diaz-nettes) all have a asymmetrical horns.

Yeah, stuff is in Pennsylvania at the moment, tryin to get a salary payin job as apposed to QA contracts, but its hard with the whole no one hiring entry level people. But, I am now in SEATTLE!! Which is cool, lotta companies out here. I wanna work on and finish my DOOM nids soooo bad...

As for the deamonettes, that is interesting that they have gone that direction, so I guess forget what I said... IGNORE MEEE!!!

Tentacle head girl is still cool. And I'm liking the idea of adding some Gigerness to the soul grinder. I'd personally buy 1 of your fine, fine daemon princes for my personal collection if I wasn't concerned about keeping my wallet at least halfway intact

Wow this is awesome, thank you very much I am looking forward to the 'care package' coming in. I will definitely throw some posts in when I get her painted, I am holding off right now while I 'perfect' the flesh tones and shading I plan to use on some practice models (did some Daemonettes, the Masque and other Daemon Princes in progress as well). A note on the assembly, I was amazed how well everything fit into place with minimal trimming and very limited filling with GS for gaps, I will take a look for some metal studs so I can drill her wings out. I am still toying with how to make them 'detachable' so that if someone (ie small child) does send her for a trip they are free to 'break' off without compromising the model itself.

Yeah, I've been studying some Giger art books i picked up online...um...wow! I saw a Giger Slaaneshi chariot the other day, and I must make at least 4 of those. August can't get here fast enough I wants my plastic seekers. The new mounts look great and are a lot beefier that the old ones.

I also started on sculpting some Giger-esque bits to cast up to convert up the vehicles for some true-scale Emperors Children; I want to make to go along with my other Slannesh army.

If you want to convert her to a snake like lower body, a boob worm is far, far to small. However, a Tyranid Trygon body and tail would look pretty good. Something like this guys wonder full work:

Sersi, I've been following this since page 4, and every update here keeps my modeling fires stoked! Thanks for giving me things to look forward to during my deployment, keep up the stellar work, and I'll be fighting to be first in line for DP #3, that kneeling pose is phenomenally dynamic!

Well just found (and read) this thread, and through it DakkaDakka on a google images search for Slaanesh (risky, I know) and just loved your Daemon Princesses. They're absolutely beautiful, much better for a Slaanesh army than the current and new plastic DPs. Plus they would go so well with my FW KoS . However, my army has somewhat of a 'no claws' theme, since they're not Slaanesh per se, they're creatures spawned from a minor Chaos God. Do the Daemon Princesses come with an option to remove all the claws from them, that is, human arms on both sides? Does that beautiful sword the crouching DP has, come with the running one with the glorious loincloth? Do you ship to the UK?

I know its a lot of questions but I just want to know if I can snatch the running one from eBay, or if I need to wait for the third one to be cast up for the human arms and badass sword.

Wow...has it been that long already?!! Yikes...I need to get posting again. All of the Princesses come with the two alternate humanoid hands/arms, along with the claw one so you can use either or use all for to make a "Many armed monstrosity" if you like. All three also come with the sword, two different spears, a whip and a dagger! I really need to take some new pics tonight and post them up. There is also a third tentacle/pony-tail head, optional armor plates, a clip on buster, and other clothing to cover the "naughty bits", etc. The crouching one will be on sale this Saturday.

Oh, and I ship everywhere! At least on earth anyway.







And yes I have an actual update to post....so more later!

Honestly, hate to interrupt your workin on the fiend sers, but if you want it too look fast, then the upper body should have a high amount of lean forward to it, to indicate speed. Otherwise, it looks like its prancing, maybe you should check out some dinos(raptors and such) for an idea!

On the fiends I'll be sure to get the others into a more sprinting poses. This one has more of a playful, lunging to catch you in brutal hug pose going on. Although I'm giving them the traditional crab claws, since mine run around on two legs, the other two limbs will be humanoid hands with long grasping fingers. Clawed of course!

For the heads I'm doing several different things, so a few traditional tube heads, humanoid heads, etc. Using "Slave to Darkness" as a reference on those.

Wow, your wings are exceptional. I know I'm a bit late on the posting. But damn, that's awesome work, what you do with sculpting I can only do with a pencil and paper, I'm in awe of your skill.
