Update #41 · Apr 23, 2013 · 42 comments
The Zombicide: Season 2 surveys are out!

We're only asking about long leadtime items, everything else including extra payment will be taken care of in our pledge manager at https://ckpm.coolminiornot.com, you'll receive a login link when it's ready. Refer to http://cmon.com/zombicide2 for the options. Please enter 0 if you don't want an item listed.

We're also asking for your preferred email address. If it's the same as your Kickstarter email please enter it again (twice) or provide the one you usually use. This email address will be used by our pledge manager as your login and all notifications will be sent to this address.

Once the CoolMiniOrNot Kikcstarter pledge manager is ready we'll post another update here so you'll know to look for the email link.

Reading the update and KS comments is funny it's amazing the amount of people that didn't read the text of the update properly and then proceeded to ask where is X,Y or Z or I can't find where to add them, when I log into the CKPM there is no Zc2 option where is it etc. etc.

Is update #41 really that hard to understand!

Speaking of idiots I used mine to confirm that I will now be taking all the extra characters.

This is idiotic because at some point the Mrs will catch up with this development.

I know that the artist packs will be in the KPM, but I was curious as to why they weren't on the survey - they strike me as long lead time items, after all.

Anybody know?

"Ask ten different scientists about the environment, population control, genetics, and you'll get ten different answers, but there's one thing every scientist on the planet agrees on. Whether it happens in a hundred years or a thousand years or a million years, eventually our Sun will grow cold and go out. When that happens, it won't just take us. It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." They will be a retail item so they are making them regardless and numbers aren't so important the other miniatures are once off so they need a good idea of how many to make in 1 run, while the tiles will be available later they won't be available to the same extent and won't sell nearly as well as the miniatures as print runs of tiles are expensive they need an idea of how many to order for the KS and future stock they won't reorder these very often.

Thanks Dave, that makes a lot of sense. I must have missed the part where they said the artist boxes were a retail item or I might have decided not to get them until then as British customs are making a monkey out of me recently and I could do with paying a lot less to them.

The last 2 packages I got from Japan, the customs charges and handling fees came to about the same as I paid for the items I'd ordered, so I think they must have included the shipping costs. Even then, I've been stung for about half the total.

Didn't happen with my DFG package though, so don't know what happened there?

CMON just announced that the remaining items for Season 1 are currently being sent out. As an added bonus they are being posted from Battlefoam for those in the UK to save us tax (although the first packages they have sent accidentally didn't include the cards which will follow).

We also finally have an answer regarding Eva and Marvin -

At Miramax's request, Guillotine Games made some modifications to the costumes for Eva and Marvin - if you ordered them and don't like what you got, we'll be happy to take them back, just drop us an email.

Looks like we were right about the legal issues surrounding them.
