Wait they basically had the money sitting in their PayPal account over a year later? Okay I added some in January but still. I'm not sure how those guys do things but honestly, the RPGs I was working on basically distributed the funds fairly fast.

And we were really using everything we got. PayPal can be funny they can be, we had stuff frozen but it literally took a few days to sort it. And you can use other ways to take funds.

Also wouldn't their store basically be shut until it was fixed? And no mention on Social Media that they love so much....

Anyway again pictures of things that we won't see, like both of them, kinda called that one.

I'm glad I didn't select any of the snipers. I do hope they made the masters a bit too large to account for shrinkage. Otherwise those are going to be hell to get onto a base. And even though they might be 30mm tall to the eye, once they fully stand up, they'd tower over terminators.

Now I love myself tall women, don't get me wrong. But still.

And, uh, is Wolfenstein planned to be on a 40mm base? She looks very good, but that's going to be tricky to fit on a base too. I can't believe I had to clip the tab on the Yaga I got to make her stand up on a table. The tab was all the way over at the edge of the cloak, her right leg was on the edge of the base and the left one was... way outside. With staff in place, she was ridiculously easy to knock over.

I suppose it could all work out just fine.

Going on from that rules description, is it going to be like Infinity? Or an even more random 40k?

And who is this special bird they found who can match egos with them in terms of designing a game using such a bloated description?

Is it just an optical illusion, or so some of those heroines look substantially taller and more svelte than others? Some look almost "heroic scale" while other have seven feet of legs with a teeny torso perched on top...

I have the sisters and they barely fit onto regular round bases and are 90% leg when put next to other ranges.

Ks has enabled me to limit my miniature buying, though I'm not liking the fact my card charges an addition on top but regardless. I like backing companies but I also need to know that they are doing something with that backing.

Ill back a limited amount, as I've said however the amount is going to be based on if I get anything before December.

And it's going to be much less than this time.

I've more or less until recently gone cold turkey myself with regards to KS. But then a KS came along that offered WWI tanks and alas, my heart was once again a-flutter with crazy ideas.

I'm very interested in this game that they are developing!

Once that's out, I might buy a small force for the various factions here, and then I won't have to worry about wonky scaling or theme matching etc.

But what if the rules are an utter trainwreck?

I mean, did you read that description they gave of their outline?

It will also be interesting to see what kind of background we'll be getting for this game. Rules are one thing, but there's also the fluff.

I trust them to make a workable rule set about as much as I trust my infant daughter to sleep through the night.

I've playtested several big name games, even those who claim to be cinematic.

None really can hold that name. Some come close , Infinity and Malifaux are what I'd say was closest too that title.

Sure, if you ignore the fact that every KS they've done solo has been on time or early, save for Wrath of Kings, which they announced the delay on.

But by that standard - they've done like 1-2 KS yes? The tiny little "Guilds of Cadwallion KS," and some stuff that we won't find out if it's on time or not for quite a while (Like Arcadia Quest). Was Kaos Ball done with a partner? (though that also seems to have missed it's stated ship date).

I've no problem with CMON KS (unlike some people) in fact I just got my Rivet Wars wave 2 yesterday, so I'm pretty pleased with them atm (quality looked like a nice bump up from the core set). But going 1/2 seems like a pretty low goalpost.

So anyway. I'd really like to see these guys fully deliver on this before they start another KS. And on that:

What you see on the picture above is a pile of all the drawings to date for the Sci-Fi Dark Elves and Sisters of Eternal Mercy. This means that you can double it when we include the Fantasy versions

It looks like they're going to try and KS 4 distinct factions in one. I'd much rather see them do one at a time, or at a stretch, do the Fantasy and Sci-Fi versions of the Sisters separately to the Dark Elves. Faster turnaround and all that.

I'd rather see them releasing their product in stores and using the profits to fund their new stuff.

We'll see what wins out: Common sense or the urge to finally move on because you can't keep an artiste tied down on one project forever.

KS fever doesn't just grip the people buying in. The people who start these things want to keep starting them.
