So, yea...went off this weekend so no actual work on the ratmen. didnt get to play fantasy or 40k. but its all good any way i just thought i would put up what i did. last friday and what im sorta working ont his week. plus better pics of what i did on some other stuff.

For fearing of burnout cause i have to paint a lot of ratmen i am gonna switch them up with lizardmen and some 40k stuff tossed in. so pretty happy with how my iron warriors turned out yes they need based but not sure how i want to do that as of yes since i have a city board i might make them with city type bases...so sand and dry brush grey of several shades.

bases for the lizard and skaven will be in a swamp type setting following the same logic of my plague marines. but gonna try some experiments with water effects as i have some...eventually i will make a swamp board too as i think that would look cool for my lizards skaven and plague marines to fight on.

the skaven only have five dudes sorta done been kinda goofing off this morning half arse painting them. nothing worth showing. My order of skaven did not come in fully but i did get two boxes of storm vermin and a warp lighting cannon.

hey all jsut thought i would check in with you guys.

so i been wiorking got a new stable job. its been going really good. haven't had much hobby time trying to get used to my schedual. but im getting there. after taking inventory last time. im debating on what to knock out next. sold some of my eldar but none of the eldar my dead friend had. think im gonna bounce into some 40k again just trying to think of whazt to do. work on the skaven will still continue. just need to figure out what to do.

if you were wondering im back in a plant i work first shift. the only problem with this is that we are kinda slow right now i ran out of parts last thursday so fun fun. had a three day week wend and was working on other stuff...plus playing boarderlands two very awesome addictive game.

any thoughts on what you would like me to work on having trouble making a decisionl.

had a mild scare last week i was out of meds and couldnt function well at work got sent home but that has been taking care of as i got my meds in that friday so im all better.

in my list of things to paint it has slightly grown but it isnt that bad as of yet so it should be ok. needing to pick something and work on it...to kill my list dowqn some more again before it explodes into something that i can not control and go on a selling spree again.

for my templars its just doing helbrect and a vanilla captain.

for my ig its building a russ and two chimeras plus painting two russes and a sentinel and the chimeras...

for my tau well its a lot of stuff that i havent felt like working on.

got some deamons too now i have some plague bearers to go with my nurgle army im building...so iron warriors are complete.

need a dark vengeance chaos half to add to my growing chaos army again but no worries ill get that eventually.

and my eldar have been moved to being a used for inquisimunda. i have loads to do there.

then there is the lizardmen. well lots to do there...*sighs*

any wasy would love to hear what everybody thinks i should work on. needing some dakka guidance.

Congrats in a stable job , I hope you get everything worked out with your meds, it sounds serious if it affects your work.

Though I personally would like to see some work on the chaos nurgle stuff, I'm tempted to see more guard stuff as well .

theo, yea with out my meds im a gibbering mess and its no good...im very happy to have stable work it means im productive and i get to buy my plastic soldiers and stuff so all is well

i can accommodate so no worries. need to charge up the dremel if im working on the nurgle stuff. for the rhino. before i get any work done on anything i need to cleazn up my space again. its a mad house and not in the good way.

ill get some work done on stuff on sat before i go play d&d hooray getting up really early. I also have a game of 40k comming up on sun so that should be fun. teaching a guy how to play again he hasnt played in a very long time so this should be a good experience.

so any other votes for stuff to work on?

shas yea life is getting better slowly but better always improving. again ran out of parts so got sent home early only worked seven hours today. that happens in my work the holidays are the slowest. it usally picks up again around march when they release the new model of car. hopefully i get a full day of work tomorrow. in other news im looking into getting my own place and on my own again. its really scary to think about. havent had the best of luck when living on my own.

cleaned up the hobby area so that is good. didnt play any boarderlands today cause well i'd prolly play all night and feel like suck when i got up for work so no video games or hobby stuff during the week you know that responsibility thing.

should have an update for sunday.

Yes, clean your desk. A lot of people disagree with me, but for me a clean desk is a functional desk. Not having to look for something saves time and is less stressful.

Congrads on the meds working. Been there myself, life is way better for it.

clean work space4 check four and a half days off check painting to commence in 9 hours.

hopefully mother nature wont suck and rain so i can take picks of every thing as i get it built. and painted.

to do this holiday:
paint scout sentinel
paint leman russ.
paint 10 clan rats.
assemble two chimeras and a leman russ attempting to paint also.
work on nurgle bike lord and possibly the nurgle rhino.
paint some more karskins.

and thats where it stands right now will update as i go or one huge update on sunday what ever hits me will happen.

also have an awesome surprise for you guys the first week of december. its my bday on the fifth so im doing some purchasing as a xmas/bday gift to my self. since my folks dont do hobby gifts and my friends are being extra cool and getting me something big wont tell me what but they say its big. and hobby related.

any way enough rambles for now looking for ward to finishing this day up and having some off time to do some modeling.

Man you've got quite a list going.

Here's hoping the weather holds for you and that you're not in a food coma. I spent the day yesterday being 'thankful' that I didn't have to put up w/ any holiday drama this year. Everyone else left to go somewhere else and I stayed home by myself. Almost 6 hours of awesome. And when the kids got home we played M:TG for a couple hours and then right back to modeling. Yesterday was a good day.

Yea that is a list but im used to working on lotta projects at once it makes things go by faster when the paint is drying. the weather today has been nice and little to no wind so a good day for primer.

Man six hours of hobby time thats like for ever man. no food coma nice and simple thanksgiving with my folks turkey stuffing asparagus bread cranberry sauce. nice and simple it was mighty tasty.

update on hobby stuff leman russ and scout sentinel done! again pics on sunday cause well thats how i work.

still debating on gluing the top down to make it a permenant eradicator...i do like the option of having be able to fill multiple roles.

Any way been a busy man today on the hobby front.

Got the Dark Vengeance chosen done. So thats another thing off the list of chaos to do. havent touched the ig yet need two colors before i start them. found a few more marines to make another squad of plague marines with plasma guns this squad is only 5 men strong at the moment need another box of marines before i do anything else with them. this other box of marines is two fold one it gives me another heavy bolter havoc. it gives me a few more plague marines and gives me an icon bearer...so good start if you ask me. still looking at my massive ig collection good lord is all i have to say lol. need to figure out what needs to be started...most likely going to start on the second platoon. and work my way down with tanks thrown in. gonna need a break from painting all them chaos boys. still not looking forward to doing all of them cultists either. there are 40 of them. ick...not too hard to paint and assemble just getting the proper motivation to do it.

has any one heard any rumors about the ig? the only things i have heard are plastic stormies/vets. and the book comes out in march. if any one has any knowledge that would be great links would be awesome sometimes are rumor round up isnt the greatest.

Just checked out your progress on your Nurgle Marines. Nice work. The paint job is very original. Makes me wonder how you get it to fade from color to color. Nice work man.

So big update...found my colors i was missing and started the ig sat and worked on them all day sunday too...lotta stuff got done. Some you may have seen before others are new....still debating between the camoflauged tanks or to leave them just green...what do you guys think? havent done much of anything today but eat. in other news i have been with out a cigarette for 63.5 hours.

fair enough theo..i wazs being half ass lazy when i posted tbh. had a wierd morning got up at like 8 am and then thought it was a good idea to drink a whole pot of coffee not the brightest thing i ever done work went smoothly tonight no hiccups in either of my robots.

needing famous army divisions and units i know the basics ones 101st 3rd ranger bat 3rd ID 1st ID 25th ID 82nd airborne the fightin 69th (very good song by the drop kick murpheys too) 2nd cav 7th cav 1st 2nd and 3rd armor at any rate bump so in the morning i can take better pics of the army...and show you the 57th in its glory.

My MOS was 15E-10 Pershing Missile Crewman,,,,,closest in IG would be the Deathstrike Missile, the BIG one. our guys would joking say "Nuke 'em till they glow" as working with thermonuclear warheads makes for some dark humor. I was in the 81st Artillery Battalion, C batttery, 156th field artillery

I always had a soft spot for the big red one .

Max is currently and I used to be 95B (Military Police). Now I know your first instinct is to say 'Arbites' and you'd be partially correct, but another aspect is combat support and the average 3-man HMMWV carried more firepower than an infantry squad. I never deployed (was pissed about that back in my Ooo-rah days but wicked happy about it now) but had the training and the Dakka those teams can send downrange is impressive. A squad w/ a Chimera and HB team would be the closest thing I can think of for IG.

I used to be an mp too...i forgot we had a lotta dakka from the humvee mounted with a fifty and some one carrying a 249. so mech vets with heavy bolters and plasma guns? maybe a grenadier doctrine... too bad i cant mount autocannons on my chimeras...

i wasnt a Garrison mp i was a line mp did a combat tour and everything so i know more about combat support than actual police work.

so the camera died mid picture taking its charging now but gonna have to wait on it for a bit doing laundry too joy...

So far I have the Oswaldt 69th Rangers needing a few things then they will be set. Need to make them about 2k worth of points

havent built a list persay but the basic infantry squad for them will be vets the scout doctrine sniper rifles and camo cloaks and a missile launcher...thinking about adding a tank and a few more sentinels to back them up...as they are rangers they will be airborne so valks are a must now if the guy thats building the campaign allowed forge world totally would buy a vulture gunship and run that with them...hmmm elysians come to mind....

Skalk and Shas thanks for the insight on your military careers...it helped a lot.

Now the only things that need a home are the two armored sentinels and one of my leman russes.

and if i use everything i own at the moment it sit at like 3892

Oh the Imperial Armor books have the rules somewhere for the FW autocannon turret for chimeras. Not sure if it is 10pts or 15pts to make it like that. Is a simple modification.
