Old land raider dropped, so I thought it was a good opportunity to repaint it in Lamenters Colors. Couldn't get the door to open again as the mechanisms got dislodged. Here's what it looked like before. 10 years ago.

And now...


Some AA additions...All the peices are Magnitized. Weapons.even the sides so I can use it as a rhino or rasorback.



Still some work to do to busy up the side panels.

Thanks, they look better in real life.. I need to get some washes on some things.

The Contemptors are next. I also have about 10 weapons/arms to paint for them. Still I 'll need to order more to give me more options for fielding them.

After that here is my summer list.
I need to do some more inf. A few more Tac guys, some basic scouts and some Hvy Bolter for additional Dev and in general.

2 Storm Talons ( painted in the same theme as the crashed terrain peice )

I'll be doing two Storm Talons as well. Should be an interesting summer!

What's a Terminator Land Raider?

I have special Terminator doors and front Ramp from FW. Also plan to put the FW extra Armor kit on it. Being desiginated for the first company.

I have a few more Eldar and Necron additions to finish. Cleaning up!

That's what I was thinking. Sometime I'd like to get an Achillies, Thou I'm not sure the carrying capacity if any. I think I have the IA book at home.

It holds 6, no front door. Good for cheap troop protection, command squad delivery, or tech marine fixing up.

Looking at my stack of stuff I have 3 LR to do. I have the RS doors and front plate for 2 of them . I'll remove the Scorpion and add the bleeding heart like I did on several of the rhinos. Both are crusaders/Redeemers so I'll try to make sure I have one of each ( or Magnitize them and get some bits to make them the standard LR ) This will give me a total of 4 LR. .. Too Much?
The last LR I'll do with Extra Armor and the FW terminator doors.

I also have two Original OOP LR ( version 1 ) that I'll be using for my Chao's Marines. ( when I figure out what I want them to be painted as - Red corsairs or 1000sons ) - plenty of time to decide or change my mind!


Built 8 more tactical Marines ( not as exciting as the latest Vehicle projects I've been doing - Oh well...get these out of the way) and some normal scouts. hopefully I can knock these out this weekend.

Thanks. Still fell short for the judges. Hard to compete. You can see a lot of very elaborate displays on our Adepticon blog started by Ice Angel. Tough to put all that effort in for one event.

Love your mastery of the checkered pattern (am I writing this right ?).

LR looks much better that way !

Yeah Achilles has Transport 6, so the potential squads it can carry are rather limited... But it looks great !

Thanks.. they look alot cleaner than they are. the Marine shoulder ones are tough to do .

A LR...Thought it was like 325 pts.. still for larger games...Might be worth it for the anti- melta.

I mean cheap troops, like a scout squad. Not cheap protection.

Haha, so you want to buy an Achilles to transport Scouts ? Never heard such an idea before... But it might be worth it !

Really, if the land raider gets popped, 6 tac marines are going to get slaughtered just as fast as 5 scouts. If you push forward they may ignore it for easier targets, but a scoring Achilles is a dangerous thing indeed.

Git is currently playing around with a simular concept. Personally I'd be happy just to have my LR run over waveserpents and any Tau.

I bung 3 terminators in mine, and assault anything the Tank doesnt manage to blow up
