What does everyone use to make extra tripods for IG HW teams? I want to field some autocannons ( I have several left over) but the thought of buying another HW platoon box just for the tripods  doesn't well with me. Sorry if this is a frequent question, but I scanned back about 5 pages on the forum and didn't see anything on this idea.

Thanks for the help.

Just try using a pliers to bend out a thick paper clip and make a bi-pod out of it.

The cross shaped bit from a GW 1" round base sprue of 4  that comes in a lot of blister packs is nearly perfect sized for IG weapons.  Just have to bend it down a bit and cut off the extra arm.

The plastic that comes with all sprues. Just cut it to shape.

The mortar bipod works well for the autocannon and heavy bolters, just glue it upright first and lay the gun on top to glue.
