I dunno, as far as models go those are pretty conservative.

As long as the Inverse Armor Principle isn't in effect, I'm satisfied. I hope that these turn out just like the concept art. These are the sort of sci-fi troopers that I've been looking for.

what i love about the double ds going on there is the fact the concept sketches look really good... then SUDDENLY BOOBS!...... I agree its fecking irritating.

For "sex sells" to hold up as a reason, putting bigger boobs on models would need to make me want them more. It does not.

BTW, I wanted to say that what I like about the concept pick was that the soldier on the right is clearly identifiable as a female, without having boob armor. And that was well done, and something there isn't much on the market.

Will have to see how the sculpt turns out.

I do agree with some of the comments, The scketch looks great, the boobs on the model a bit big, but it wouldn't stop me from getting them. My question though is; are you doing female arms too? If they are not in the plans, please make them! I haven't seen anywhere that does female conversions or bits that have female arms, and the cadian GW arms just don't look right, they're too bulky to be female.

Yes, arms were done for this set as well as arms for the "Catachan" Female conversion kit as well.

I had no weapons sculpted onto these pieces due to feedback. I did have the sculptor refer to our SCAR weapons and others for scale purposes and they should have arms that will hold the weapons as well.

no chance of says 2 torso types one with large and one with say more average boob size?

(partly pushing this cause i love the models and hoping to cannibalise for arbites and partly cause i would genuinely like a response)

I honestly have no idea on what to say. We were pretty much bashed for not having enough female attributes on the Doomseer model. Then bashed for too much on the Scorpion Warrior model.

My thoughts are you will never please everyone on this topic.

I think the doomseer looked masculine, which isn't the same as having small bewbs. The issue is neither end of the spectrum looks very realistic at that scale, and most folks would like as much thought put into the female models as is seemingly put into male models when it comes to physiology.

Which would mean over emphasized anatomy (according to the general miniatures market).

Just do them the way you think is right.

The legs are a little wonky position wise but otherwise it's interesting. I will have to wait on judgement until complete but so far not bad.

You could always produce a variant with a smaller bust and then see which one sells more units, then take that as your "proof in pudding" for future releases.

I mean, guys do like big boobs, but you're selling a niche product, so you may well find your sales go against your large-breasted assumptions.

I don't see the issue with the breasts.. Looks good to me! I imagine half of all female models produced wouldn't sell if people didn't like seeing decent sized breasts on models.

Rather be able to distinguish the female properties than not.. after all they are small scale. I mean come on, these breasts are no more absurd than space marine shoulder pad sizes
