With Gencon only a few days out I figured I'd bump this with a bit more related info.

Based on the feedback we've received from fans and retailers, The Vandalands & Ribenguo will be next, followed by Axony & Zabar, and then Scyzantine & Chugoku. As with Next's month's releases something from further down in the que could wind up early.

The Siege Tortoises are special though, they're going to be big and pricey, and we want to make sure their fantastic enough that you won't care about their cost.

Announcing Warband Boxes
We have been thinking long and hard about how we wanted to do a starter set. We didn't want them to be pricey, take up too much retail space, or negate any of our previous releases. What we've come up with is the Warband Boxes.
In each Warband Box you will find a hero, 25 resources worth of troops, and the warbands quickstart rules. Warbands is an alternate way of playing brushfire that is a great way for new players to learn the basics with a small number of models before moving up to the full skirmish rules.
The first two of these Warband boxes will be Aquitar & Mare-Civitas. The Aquitar Warband Box will include 1 Mole Tactician, 1 Badger-At-Claw, and 3 Weasel Fusiliers. The Mare-Civitas Warband Box will include 1 Capybara Capt, 3 Mouse Lancers, and 2 Mouse Conscripts.
Both of these Warband Boxes will be $29.99. Players can then easily add another Squad box or Warband Box to this to create a 50 to 75 resource army. Expected ship date for these will be in October.

Don't want to advertise another company on your thread, but according to their website it's 28mm scale (the little terrapins on the back are roughly GW goblin sized).

Yeah, 28mm scale on nonhumans is always rough to tell. It sounds like our Siege Totorise will be larger then.

I'd like to testifty that Brushfire is quite fun. Played a demo at hurricon today and the alternate activation mechanic works great.

The ashigaru look amazing and so do the samurai (Your quite the painter Emily!). I think i'll be getting the warbands box when it comes out for them.
