I LOVE that you're doing your Dark Angels in the original black paint scheme. Dark Angels were the very first 40k army I played and there's a special place in my heart for them.

Thanks, I think nostalgia is the main motivation for them being black, that and black is sooo much cooler lol!

Looks like the original project was a bit before my Dakka days, which would explain why I haven't seen these before. Having just looked through, both old and new stuff is awesome, especially that updated Belial.

I have finished the Headhunter and I'm quite pleased with how she turned out, I'm happy she doesn't look too much like a DE.

Love those BlackWing. Got me itching to finish building my Fallen and get them all painted up.

I do like fallen projects, sometimes i get the urge to do one but i think in the end my loyal DA would not forgive me

Awesome paintwork. Your black Deathwing look like you'd expect elite fighters - dark and mean. May have to consider this for my own Deathwing when I get round to them.

Two new characters, this is my entry for the Dakka painting competition, two bounty hunters Atticus and Menos. More pictures and character background on my blog.

Great stuff as ever!

I have been working on something special of late, my favourite character and book, The Atlas Infernal and the infamous Bronislaw Czevak.

I spent some time green stuffing and sourcing the right pieces, I was going to wait until I had painted prior to posting but I was that pleased I wanted to share him now. Comments are always appreciated, he is not primed yet so there is still time to make minor alterations.

Okay, I finished my entry for the dakka painting comp, this is the background I posted with them;


Background;

Atticus and Menos are Terran bounty hunters. Originally officers from a local hive enforcement precinct they quickly became aware of the additional earning potential by performing 'odd jobs' for the local gang leaders. The pair started to become known for their skills and as demand for them increased, the risks started to rise rapidly. The decision was made, they sourced themselves counterfeit indents and joined the local bounty guild taking to the stars trading their skills for Throne Geld.






I decided to add a spotter servo skull to Menos, to help track down bountys in crowded archeo markets or dense terrain etc. what do you think?

Very nice indeed! Love the composition and the paintwork, and the basing is cool too!

I love the way the servo skull seems to have an opinion on matters. You should call him Bob.

Thanks, yeah I was thinking it could be an assassin. I'm really torn now as a started creating these guys before fully reading the =][=Munda part of the rules. I may now not be able to use all the characters I made and have to make all new ones lol! I really want a Rogue Trader crew and only a captain can start with a power sword. I have suggested we increase the tg we start with and be able to purchase from the bizarre straight away upon creation, that way we can equip the fighters how we want.

Anyone else play =][=Munda and have any suggestions or tips to how they create warbands?

Thanks, I tend to have short attention span which is useless for army building but perfect for small forces with varied paint schemes. Have played a couple of =][=Munda games it just takes me back to 2nd edition which I started with.
