Thanks very much, I'm back at work now so progress is gonna become suddenly slowed, especially when I get my hands on the new starter kit ( DA bits 100% Angels Infernus compatible!)

Its been a while since I had a chance to update, mostly due to work but also a lack of paint/brushes can do that. I've picked up a fairly hefty mount of Dark Angels through Dark Vengeance's release that has upped me to 2000 points of marines to get painted so its become a little bit of a daunting task.
Still slow progress is being made and I now have my first 5 crested tactical marines sorted:
Will be working on more soon, taking the time out to go to games day this year.

Very unique and splendid models! Love the color synergy of the silver and red.

Its been a while since I updated due to DV boxed set distracting me, but after games day I decided I needed to get more of marines painted up and ready to field. I've been picking up the pace on painting at the sacrafice of a small level of details however in doing so has allowed me to finish two out of my three tactical squads.
Firstly the Dark Vengeance squad who had their own thread for speed painting but can join the rest of the army here:
And then the finally completed 10 man tactical squad with head crests:
Automatically Appended Next Post: To add to my growing army I finished off my Dark Vengeance Librarian this morning, I'm not a huge fan of painting my librarians blue so he ended up in a deathwing scheme:

Great work as always. I have a question though are you going to do more with the plasma?? The flat red and green on the coils looks like it could use a little more (personal opinion). keep up the great painting

I'm looking at adding in some OSL into some of the latter models, its a work in progress with some of the guard allies I have sat on my painting station at the moment but they're being done slowly so may not see completion this side of christmas.
As for recent work I have finished two landspeeders that I'm not overly thrilled with but here they are:
And the second one:
I also have a Landspeeder Storm in progress but ran out of paint :(

Cheers, always nice to hear something motivational!
Progress has been slow but since I like a distraction I've been working more on my counts-as space wolf allied faction (The IG have taken a backseat again for more marine goodness)
I now have a 5 man grey hunter pack (melta) and 8 man (flamer) pack sorted along with the two original wolfguard (combiflamer, combi melta) and my runepriest.
Here's the allies thus far:
I'm considering my next wolf purchase now, right now its looking like another small grey hunter pack with the forgeworld boarding shields, along with a heavy bolter longfang pack using the new forgeworld heavy bolters (wish I could field those auto cannons). Aswell as my third wolfguard to join the third grey hunters.

Well its been a while due to distractions from my HH Blood Angels slowing things down, but due to a game coming up next week I hastily assembled and painted up some fenrisian wolves with my spare hobby time. Unfortunately the haste has left an annoying seam on a couple of the wolves heads that I should normally have picked up in prep time. Anyway here we are:
