Minor progress on the Troupe Master:

Trying a holographic effect on the cloaks similar to what Demidov used on his grav tanks, just with a more pronounced diamond pattern.

This is taking a while to work out so I'm going through the rest of the troupe to get (most of) them up to at least tabletop level, starting with the Death Jester:

Still trying to work out how to do chrome, plenty of bodies to practice on yet.

Started on the skimmers while I have an idea for another crack at the crystal/holofield effect. This will be based off a diamond pattern so I've used some thin mesh as a template to ensure the pattern is roughly even across the hull:

Blocked in the rest of the hull. The front needs tidying up before I move on to the Starweavers. Once all three are at this point I can start the holofield effect.

Moving onto the next stage of the skimmers, starting with a second basecoat for where the holofield pattern will go:

Made a start on the holofields. Lines aren't as neat as I'd like but they should be fixable once I start detailing:

Highlights done at the front. Seems too cluttered at this point so after I finish the rest of the holofield I'll start fading the diamonds back so the transition is smoother.

Picked up Betrayal at Calth last week and decided to have a brief break from painting greyscale for a while. Going for a similar scheme to what FW use with clear green/blue over silver:

I'll wait until the morning to see it in better light to work out any adjustments.

Spent the past month on a second Shadowseer for this months painting challenge and somehow finished with some time to spare:
