I'm confused - is Fractured Dimensions' KS in danger of not fulfilling?

Not that I know of,

this is all about completely separate KS by another company/person entierely (CSM)

I presume Mr Fractured Dimensions may be a backer of the CSM kickstarters which is why he's commenting ?

(or maybe he's just monitoring the other 'old school minis' KS comments and saw the name of somebody he knew and though he'd speak up for a friend?)

I really, really, really want to pick up his version of Orcus - and I hope to be able to do so soon!

Yes I think that's all it is, someone he knows and wants to help support.

Nothing at all to do with this KS, which should be on its way fairly soon going on the updates (I hope!)

Talked to the manufacturer today and the production molds are completed (and maybe more importantly the way some other kickstarters have gone recently, fully paid for), with the exception of the Orcus wings, The Great Beast, and the Stink cow. They will start casting tomorrow and he believes that an initial run of miniatures will be shipped to me on Tuesday. So hopefully I will have some pictures to send you of a bunch of miniatures in little plastic bags by the end of next week.

I am a one man operation who has a full time job and am also the primary care provider for my three year old daughter so fulfillment will not be the fastest thing in the world. I ask for one last bit of patience, you have been amazing up to this point by the way! It is looking like everyone will have their miniatures before Christmas at this point.

First production run complete

Heard from valiant miniatures yesterday that the first run of production miniatures is done (this should cover everyone who turned in their finalized orders before November). They will be getting the bases added today and it should be shipped off late today or tomorrow. Usually takes 2-3 days to get a package from them so I will have them in hand by the end of this week or early next week.

Just a quick update: I am about halfway done with pictures of all of the miniatures. I have been trying to get shots of all the angles for the larger miniatures so you can get a good idea of what the miniatures looks like. I will probably do 2-3 updates for all of the pictures as there are a lot of them. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

I am going to do this over three updates.

ASMODEUS
Stand roughly 63mm tall to the top of his head. He has two right arm variants, staff and mace, as well as three left arm variants, holding the book, open handed, and with flame. The book is a separate piece and can be fitted onto the empty hand. His cloak is fur lined with the skin of a giant wolf or hell hound over it.

BAALZEBULB
This guy stands roughly 56mm tall. As the Lord of Flies I thought it would be appropriate to make him somewhat reminiscent of a fly while still staying true to the original source material.

BAEL
One of the smaller named devils coming in at only 38mm tall.

BAPHOMET
Another one standing roughly 56mm tall. The source art has him naked but I thought he would look significantly more brutal if he has some tattered armor on.

BAR-LGURA
Standing roughly 28mm tall.

BELIAL
Belial stands roughly 47mm tall. He has three different left arm variants: the first holds a spellbook, the second is a shield with a spear in hand, and the last is a second shield variation holding a wand in hand. You will notice the odd sword on the third variant which is a simple hand conversion from the Type III Demon.

I changed his concept significantly before Paul sculpted him. I didn't mind the hoplite version but it didn't really have an evil vibe to it and really looked too much like a poor Asmodeus. I sort of reconceived him as an evil mage / experimental surgeon who was thrown out of the upper planes for some pretty disturbing experiments.

BODAKK
33mm tall and comes with two head variations as well as a hammer head that you can use in place of his axe head.

CAMBION LORD
Stands roughly 38mm tall.

HANDMAIDEN
Roughly 35mm tall.

ZHOUBLEXX
About 42mm tall. He comes with 4 vomit pieces even though I only have 1 attached to him right now.

KOSCHEI THE DEATHLESS
One of my favorites, standing roughly 50mm tall.

ORCUS
He ended up being roughly 73mm tall.

PAZUZU
Stands roughly 35mm tall.

I just want to run down where we are on the project.

Pledges Fulfilled (including refunds) - 51%

Pledges Packed and ready to be shipped - 10%

Pledges incommunicado - 22%

Pledges waiting to be packed - 17%

We are slowly creeping towards complete fulfillment. Got a good number of packages out yesterday. 22% of backers have still not turned in an order form. I will be sending out another round of emails to try and get responses.

Currently I am getting ready to put in an order to restock as I have run out of:

I don't know about Dakka but some of the backers on Reaper Forum have had theirs, but a fair few are still waiting, and nobody is getting replies to emails

it looks like the money has run out, but company is trying shipping stuff out as money comes in to let them do so, and they are not willing to admit it (this is, of course, my guess work based on what people have posted, rather than real facts)_

Yeah, I think I dodged a bullet on this. I'd backed for a buck to add the Orcus, Demogorgon and some other minis. After a lot of emails I finally got a response and a spreadsheet to fill out. He then never responded to my emails requesting a paypal invoice to give him money. It mirrored so much of my experience with Center Stage that I didn't push, figuring that he flaked or was broke.

Did anyone ever get any miniatures from this KS?

Sadly, think this is the first one that I have lost my money on.

Sent a couple of messages to the chap (via different methods) asking if there was any chance of even some of my pledge arriving, and offering to pay extra postage. Pointed out that I had posted quite a few messages both on here and BoW about it which no doubt helped the advertising for the KS a bit.

Sadly not a whisper :(

I backed his first KS for old-school D&D orcs, and I did get those, though some of the stretch goal figures didn't materialise in the end (to be fair, he offered a partial refund to cover those).

Hope it works out in the end!

I didn't back it at the time - budgetary reasons!

Ah OK thanks for that Orlando.

Interesting to see that a number of people have got their pledges, although that was some months ago now. Funny to see some of the minis available on that webpage.

Sad that the chap couldn't send out some comms about whether he has run out of funds, personal problems etc. It's the 'not knowing' that makes it most painful, feel like some fisherman's wife staring out forlornly to sea, never knowing whether her husband will return (or whether he was taken out by a storm/pirates etc.)

The lack of info from the project creator when things started to go wrong has indeed been depressing (and depressingly familiar),

but hopefully having the stuff sold via Mortal Arrow is going to provide ongoing funds for him to get the rest of the stuff out to people

(it may help to get in contact with him to let him know you are still waiting as I'm sure people who do, will probably be prioritised over those who are silent or emailing angrily all the time)

That was one of the things that really stood out with the Dream Forge Kickstarter - he remained in communication all along the twisting route to fulfillment.

Folks are a lot more forgiving if they feel like they know what is going on.
