Thanks. Very happy the way they turned out, both scheme and composition. I've got 10 Guardians w weapon platform, 10 wraithguard, 4 more bikes and an additional WS to finish.

Nice to have several armies to choose from.

After I finish the Eldar, I'll move to finish the remaining few Necron units then I'll start my CSM army. I was going to do them as Red Corsairs, but been thinking I'd paint them as Thousand suns. Any thoughts?

Guess it depends on what kind of modeling and stuff you want to focus on. RC are less demonic and mutated, nor really Chaos SM, more renegade. TS are full blown chaos god driven.

Ok .. Jumping around form my Lamenters back to some Eldar. Why? First to keep my interest up.. 2ndly I have on the way another Eldar order.. A 2nd Wraithknight, a 2nd Crimson Hunter, and 3 War walkers. So.. I started on the additional 12 jet bikes I already had. I’ll post a pic thou they are just base coated ( so Git’s rule isn’t called on me) Of the 12, 2 I’ll bash as Warlocks. I think I’ve gotten a little better with the contrast turquoise color so I also wanna go back and do some more on the current figures as well. I’ve made up some squeeze bottles of the turquoise so I can blend with all the same colors.

Now not to mess the current stuff up!

So when all is said and done… My Eldar army will consist of....

Farseer on bike
10 Jet bikes 2 Warlocks
2 Wraithknight
2 units of wraithguard* + (2)wave serpents
2 Wraithlords
2 vipers
5 Dire Avengers + Wave Serpent

Got 9 Bikes done. However I misplaced some of the flying bases.. Looks like I'll be ordering some. Pic hopefully tomorrow.

1 more normal biker to finish and 2 that I kitbashed as council. Currently this brings Yellowbeards and I bike total to 20 JB, 1 FS on bike and 2 Council.. 22 !
I'll probably get 3 more and fit them out with cannon so I have the option available.

Back to Wraithguard!

So many bikes! They do definitely need something on the cowl, its such a large empty spot.

Problem with the craftworld symbol is that it is white on the transfer sheet. I'm not hand painting it.. so looking for an alt.

Have you considered putting the transfer on and then using it as a guide to paint over it. Easier than free-handing it.

Or paint on a shape in the blue (circle, oval, etc...) and then put the transfer on that. Will look like a cut out then.

I was looking for a easy solution. The Icon is tiny.. not sure it'll look right. There has got to be something celtic out there.. I should look for something in the High Elf or wood Elf range.. humm

Bikes finished. 10 and 2 I converted as Seer Council. 6 man Seer Council led JB should be enough. 3 more bikes w/ SC and I'll be bike DONE!

Repainted the Farseer blade to match the new council weapons.

So I started on the Wraithguard theme. A lot more to do.


At least I can field a legit bound army now.. I have 3 HQ, 3 troops (2 with DT), 2 Fast and 2 heavy.

Got my 2nd wraithknight, CH and 3 war walkers last night.

Managed to build a single WW and the CH. I'm considering trying to pose the Wraithknight in a more dramatic pose. Hate to mess that up but it deserves a better pose.

Any suggestions?

Started building the 2nd Wraithknight. Almost put the connection section for the torso to the hip section in backwords. New pose.. Pic's on Monday!

Ordered some weapons sprus so I can make all the load outs as well.
