Have you considered allowing some kind of pledges through paypal? I seem to recall some campaigns which have done so, although I think it was after the KS campaign itself

I went in and grabbed one of the EB's on this. This stuff looks great, I hope we unlock the lizard and minotaur.

People have been asking for more EB's.... I am still new to this. What do you guys think?

Personally, I think it would be fine to just up the number of EBs if you wish. Another way people have done it is a "second bird" EB pledge level, where it's like 1 to 2 pounds more than the first EB.

But if it's in demand, I say add some more, via one option or the other! I saw your update about adding an EB pledge level for Australia / etc, and I don't know if you'll actually need 30 of those for starters - maybe start it at 20 and see if you need to increase?

The Bugbear and the Minotaur look amazing! I just placed a Mega Bundle pledge on this project.

I agree praetor, although I'm after Lizardkin Deathscales and Bugbears myself (currently leaning towards 3 lizards and 1 bugbear with my bundle).

You're venturing dangerously close to Highlord territory there!

Assuming we unlock them, I'm in for all versions of the minotaur. That Bugbear with tusked helm is pretty awesome as well, especially with his HUGE tower shield, and Skeletoresque warhammer. Plus, Cyclopeon Zombie brute with hook & cleaver, are quite nice.

Yah, if you guys could just keep pledging so the Minotaur get's unlocked and I can pledge for one, that would just be suuuper. M'kay?

So here's a question. If you pledge for a level that includes the stretch goal freebies, and let's just say that you don't get a Flesh Golem.

Will you still receive the alternate flesh golem parts?

(sub as appropriate for lizardmen arms, minotaur heads, etc)
I can see them being useful for conversions and also if someone were to pick up those models down the line.

Also, SG12 (for the Minotaur) seems to be called "Sword and Shield" while the image shows an Axe and Shield...

I believe you get extras for each model you select (Edit: or maybe not, you just get one set of all of them, see Kaine's post below).

Hm, you're right. It says "you may pick any of the parts". So it's not even clear if they're extras or if you're simply allowed to choose them as alternates "for free".

And at 3 quid for an alternate head, they're not exactly priced in a friendly way for a KS that will no doubt be 6 months+ late.

All SG's that are free are free. You get them all in addition to what you have purchased. Plus, when you buy a brute you may select ANY piece that has been unlocked to equip him with. But you still get the free bits on top. You can use them as conversion pieces, magnetise them or whatever you want. I also thought I had changed the sword and shield image. We changed it from a sword last week.

Oh, does that mean I'm mistaken then - I'll get one set of flesh golem stretch goal bits free even without selecting a golem, but not multiples of the brutes I select? Not an issue for me, but that was not very clear, so you might want to add a FAQ entry or otherwise clarify this somewhere people can point to for when the same question is asked again.

Yeah...this has been brought up on the KS page. I thought it was clear but when you ahve been starring at Bugbears for weeks and weeks the message gets lost in your own head if you know what I mean. I am working on a graphic showing the Mega Bundle pledge and what you get with it. The truth is you get enough heads and bits of your choice for everything you have bought plus a load of free stuff.

Some bugbear is totally getting manged with zombie parts then.

Some recent car trouble severely cut down my hobby spending. I still want to back this, but I'll wait until the Minotaur gets unlocked. I really want a gladiator minotaur.

Although initially I was not really into the Flesh Golem brute, the new 'flesh warped head" and "monster arm" unlocked made me reconsider.

It all looks swell, Kaine, and I know you're doing the right thing for the campaign by selling your discounts with tried and true advertising techniques.

But admit it . . . as a first-timer and an intelligent human being, you must feel at least a little silly emblazoning FREE! on exploding red halos, or giving the word "choose" sex appeal by adding an extra "O."

I'm not telling you not to do it; I want you to succeed well enough to get to making sci-fi lizardmen, after all. But if it were me in your shoes, I know I'd be laughing at myself every time I wrote "FREE!!," "But wait, there's more!," etc., etc..

Just be careful not to take traditional advertising approaches too far: spelling "Quality" with a "Kw" renders it an oxymoron.
