ALF...Demon Prince.. that be bad for the Lamenters... They already have enough problems.

MA...No all the checkers and Hearts are all hand painted . Upon closer inspection you wouldn't be so impressed. As for suggestions. Make sure your plan your checks before starting to paint. I use a white background. pencil in my lines and paint the black . retouch up the white, retouch up the black. Also mentally be in the right mood as doing so can be fustrating. Taking it in small chunks helps as well.

For the hearts.. I now use a stencil. These however were done prior to that revelation!

Next .. more work on the Contemptor...

You are just blazingly fast with those necrons, SL. They're looking amazing!

How many more guys do you have left before your complete list? (And of course, we want a group shot!)

Drop pods look exceptional as well. I particularly like how you used the checks on the interior of the doors, opposed to hazard striping.
And the panel lines on the yellow and white are beautifully crisp. Well done making the two hardest colors look easy!

And Im definitely looking forward to seeing you take on the contemptor.

I cheated by painting all the base colors in one fell swoop. Assembly, Priming. Base . Everything Necron was brought up to the same point together.

MY AC list has been done for weeks.. I'm just finishing all the " extra " figures n the conveyor belt.
As for this completion of Army.. I have 12 more warriors, 1 Stalker, 3 Tomb blades, 10 Scarab based, 2 Spyders, 5 Lynchguard, 2 additional Overlords and 2 additional Crypeks.

Heresy !!

Thanks .. I'm not abandoning the yellow guys, just like to have multiple options to play with and against.

My Contemptor needs new shin pieces ( were missing ) so have replacements to mold from. After that I’d like to do my 2 Storm talons.

Meph.. Welcome Back.. hopefully we'll start seeing some more of your excellent BA Again!

Thanks Yggs.. I'm more into the Lamenters as well. However AC has pushed me into other armies. I've always wanted to have other choices to play with and against.

At this point I'm collecting more than I'm painting marines. As effective as the centurians are supposed to be; I dislike the model. Still I have Dreads to finish, planes and a couple of LR's in future plans. I'll continue to work on my Lamenters but piecemeal as they are already a good size playabel force.

Yeah, it can be fun to experience new things... (I can see Slaanesh already seized your soul )
As for the Centurions, have you seen them IRL ? They look way better than on the pics.....

Keep it up for the Necrons too, mate !

Oh yes indeed! Even though I've been coming home from work with the energy and springiness of a boiled celery, I've forced myself to go through the 15-minute setup and 15-minute cleanup process (doe to lack of dedicated desk that I can leav out of sight).

First up is to finish the large scale terminator as the sculptor is finishing up the painting of a large scale Ultramarine termy. And we can't have the smurfs finishing before the Sons of Sangy, now can we? I just need to finish, the halo, bolter, besagews and hip armour. Oh, and a base...

Not for sale. I was traveling for work and had to stay over the weekend and decided to look up the FLGS. Found they were playing a tourney so stuck around and watched a few good games.

This was in PA. I do not know the owner.

I love the D-Lord conversion. I have more pics from the event to share when I get a moment.

If you guys both swing into town, let me know. Theres a really cool LFGS in town called Legions about 15 min north of the city, great place to play and meet other 40kers and fantasy guys. Its a full partner level store so it carries the Full range of GW products, its pretty legit haha owner is big hobbyist/nerd so its a laid back place. And the 10 -15% off is always nice GW prices is always nice.

If you give me enough notice and could promise me a game in which I would get tabled by turn 3, I too could probably swing it (though it's about 3 hours from me)

Though as a Cleveland Browns fan, I would be treading into the lair of the enemy...
