Subject: Ork - Scratch built and Converted models (and some Chaos)
I stumbled across your big rigs on youtube and then found your thread on here. Also turns out that I bought all your Stompa spares (from building your ship) and found some Grot tanks in there too!
Anyway, Your builds are pretty epic and inspiring mate and thanks for the heads up on the p.card in your sig.
Cheers dude, keep it up.
Orkses is never beaten in battle. If we win we win, if we die we die, so it don't count as beat. If we runs for it we don't die neither, so we can always come back for anuvver go, see!

So after my epic fail with asking where you get your plastic card from...which was in plan site. I have found a locate Hobby store in the great white north with lots of plastic cards, rods etc... I have decided to make a Grot Self-Propelled Gun, similar to the WW2 German tanks. Its going to be bigger then you Grot Tanks...which I have built thanks to your great tutorial. Just wanted to say thanks for the inspirations and tutorials on how to create great looking Ork Stuff.

Ok read through the whole blog finally and I must say, wow! Very well done! What tools do you use for all the builds? I know some of the obvious ones like hobby knife, pin vise, and glue. But what other tools do you have in your arsenal?

Your wife and mine could probably have a good talk about being "40k widows".
Great video. One of these days I'm really going to try to build something because of your inspiration. I'm just so bad at it. The detailing I can do, but building the basic structure on which to base everything else is where it all falls apart for me.
Anvildude: "Honestly, it's kinda refreshing to see an Ork vehicle that doesn't look like a rainbow threw up on it."
It took me about 3hours to go through the entire thread from page one to 60 and now I am experiencing the side effects!!
1) I wanna build an ork army! Screw grey knights, eldar, chaos and space wolfs! ORKS DA BEST!
2)I want to go out there and buy a ton of plasticard although I will not know what to do with it. Also I must get some power tools and run them all together!
3)My right hand hurts like hell from all the scrolling. I was going to keep painting Draigo but now I want to paint some ORKS!!
4)I wanna order some bikes from you just to have the joy of painting them. And paint them RED! Cause if it's RED it goes FASTA!
5)I really want to send you staff from my bit box as a gesture of saying thank you for this AWESOME thread!
6) Where are my UPDATES!! The 60 pages are gone! Do something!
You are the man and I really hope your life and job allows you to keep doing what you are doing. You are an inspiration to all of us .
Got milk?
All I can say about painting is that VMC tastes much better than VMA... especially black...
PM me if you are interested in Commission work.
