Airbrushing, then edge highlighting is an excellent idea. Think this is the first time i've seen it done. This has just blown my mind off... literally amazed at your painting style. Better get an airbrush....

Out of curiosity how long and how wide are the shields before they are cut in half? And how wide is the strip that goes around the shield?

Haha i see i made a mistake!

The strip is 1 mm by 2 mm The shield is about 4 cm wide before i cut it in halve and then when glued together its about 1 inch.

Also the plastic card i used is 1 mm thick and not 2 mm don't know how i came up with this... not that it matters that much i think...

Ill change this in the tutorial as well

Hey all!

Yesterday i got some new toy's!

1 Emperors Children Contemptor with Kheares assault cannon
10 Mark 4 to build a 5 man stern guard and a 4 man royal guard for Fulgrim.
1 Librarian Lloth with honor guard to make the royal guard for Fulgrim.
5 Heavy support Mark 4 with plasma cannons.



And indeed the 2nd picture is what i got to see when i opened the librarian lloth and honor guard.
So now i need to wait for replacements....
Never had such a bad cast as this one... Oh well sh*t happens

I haven't even seen finecast cast that badly yet! I love the prow on the gunship, where did the inspiration for that come from?

No had it before with FW and they just sent you new ones for free.
I just hope they feel so ashamed that i get a full new set that would just be really awsome!

I got a lot painted up already but you all just have to wait for pictures till the 13th of next mount!!
Then it is the armies on parade here in the Netherlands and i can show all of you the army in its full glory!

And i will try and get these new additions to the army painted up and fit on the board as well!

I am thinking of making a new legion to go with my EC since the EC are already around 2500 points and i just want to add Fulgrim and leave it with that and start to paint something new... So what legion?

I was thinking or Sons of horus or Ironhands since those to are the 2 legions mostly related to the emperors children.

Anny idea's?

Nice work on all the power armor guys and the new dreadnought. My vote is for the iron hands just because I haven't seen very many of those compared to other legions.
