Edit: That awkward moment when you are too lazy to quote someone and your post starts the next page...

Yeah, I missed it after hitting F5, then went back to the main page and saw your name as the last poster... is it bad though that I automtically thought my 'puter was being dumb?

It's an inanimate object, fer crying out loud.

Runnin up on ya.

Received my UPS tracking email this afternoon; excited to see my new toy.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

I sure my package doesn't become a hostage of UPS...

For me it's a race between the Eisenkern and a Badger Krome with 80 Minitaire paints. Excited for both and pretty sure one goes with the other nicely. Now if I can decide on a scheme for the Eisenkern... German Grey is tempting but perhaps bland.

I shall sacrifice some spehs mehreens to the paint god and work on some schemes I think.

That is the word on the street. But then again, word on the street was that WGF also did Mantic's Goblins, and that doesn't seem as likely anymore.

Any resemblance of this post to written English is purely coincidental.

I'm surprised no one is flipping out over the fact that the Warstore and others have these up for pre-order (eta, according to the Warstore, of 7-10 days).

$33.99 for the twenty-troop box, $27.99 for the support weapons, and $95.99 for the Leviathan!

I'm now $100 poorer. No Leviathan for me . . . yet.

Perhaps.... but I think that is optimistic.

It was shipped from China to HK, my understanding is that they were leaving HK yesterday or today, Paul at WGF will send the tracking #'s as soon as China forwards them.

Mathieu Raymond wrote:Time will be a factor. Rules need to come out after Wave 3, so these aren't seen only as proxies for other games, and other factions.

What if he went half and half? Say one big beasty, a vehicle and 2 core infantry choices for 2 factions?

Shadokesh:
1) foot soldiers of hard hitting ranged doom (tm)
2) more ferals and handler as savage CC packs
3) some light skimmer that has many support weapon options
4) a leviathan sized quad or hexa-robot.

Russians (in spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace):
1) grizzled foot soldiers complete with dog packs (two units in one box)
2) light artillery support
3) light tank or scouting tracked/half-track/walker
4) BAMF MBT

KS exclusives as stretch goals:
1) some mercenaries/independent corsairs
2) religious faction emissary/brethren.

Can you tell it's been a while I read the fluff?

Waddya think of this?

Honestly... My mind is so firmly on completing this KS that I have not given thought to much ell's. Chances are I can only release one faction and the game if I run another KS. Part of the issue is that everything takes longer that you think it should. It also helps to only work one faction at a time for esthetic's reasons.. you want the vision and the work to be as clear as possible while you build the faction... mixing two at one time may not yield the best result for either.

I have yet to recieve my tracking info, I am so jealous.

Thinking about the Shadowkesh, I'm wondering if they might be both advanced (and psychoitc) enough to force a temporary small-scale tear in the "veil" with their weapons. Basically a small nuke using "free" energy of the universe.

Even at warstore mark up, I seriously prefer paying 33bucks for 20 guys as opposed to GW's 10IG or worse, 5 SM. Okay, so the Heavy support weapons are about comparable, but better weapons that look cooler and the Eisenkern truppen, I paid about that for my Baneblade and Stompa, of the 2 I actually like my stompa named "Patches"

A single faction and the rules in the next KS sound great to me, Mark. I'll probably only be in for rules since I have so much of this faction, and generally limit myself to one faction per system. But, I can't wait to receive this stuff, and then to start hearing about rules!

As much as it makes my wallet cringe to hear, I look forward to the next DFG KickStarter. Going 3 for 3! Maybe not for as much as went into this one though, since I may have gone a bit crazy.

I don't think it'll happen until after May / Wave 3 of this one ships... hopefully we'll get good advance notice of it so folks can plan.

Ghost Studios/Wargames Factory has the contract and has been producting all of Wyrd's plastic sprues for Malifaux.

They also produced the amazing prepainted plastic ships for the Leviathans game. (They are also doing prepainted 15mm plastic infantry (had a look at these up-close at Williamsburg Muster; they are painted better than most people I know can paint))

There is literally no way Wargames Factory did Mantic's goblins. Different plastic and different tooling style. Wargames Factory uses very specific channel lines and stackable sprues.

Brick of plastic crack arrived today. My desk is now occupied with dozens on half-assembled stormtroopers.

As for future kickstarters, as long as Mark makes pretty models he will continue to receive my paychecks.

Uuuh, not true, actually.
I got my notification ~19H ago now - for delivery to the Netherlands.

Quite surprising - I tend to be the very last backer in any KS to get anything shipped out

I don't even KNOW anymore.

Maybe it's by pledge number? ETA for my stuff is the 9th.

And I'll support the hell out of the next KS, especially if it's Shadowkesh.

Nah, then I'd've gotten mine sooner. I think it's by time of completion on the pledge manager.
