It is. I'm looking at the other photo now on my phone. The Khorne 'horns' on the other were more ornate, and it had a white, fleshy face.

Im mostly wondering what the hell that gun is going to be. More like a Hades cannon? Maybe also have alternate weapons for the magnetisers amongst us?

$30 PER BLISTER for EACH of the marines? What the feth? Does that come with someone to assemble it and paint it for me? Last apoc had 4 to a set for about $30. Brutally stupid.

And nobody noticed the price for the Khorne Guts Dozer? $160 US ! Holy crap GW. I know it's Apocalypse and all, but that doesn't mean EVERYTHING needs to cost as much as a FW model.

I noticed. RIDICULOUS. I guess some bean counters at GW figured out that you could increase prices exponentially rather than just linearly...

And such a price tag for a model that's only maybe 50% cool and the other half laughably ridiculous (rather than enjoyably ridiculous, like the actual old-SKOOL GW stuff)

He still needs a second gun arm though to be even more like a daemonic Guntank-Ironman baby.

The current Stompa is a fantastic kit, and you get tons of bitz left over as it is. I've used mine to build an Aegis, help convert up a Biker Boss and convert a Trukk into a Battlewagon. And I've still got this massive Bossplate I need to use somewhere!

Alright good to know, I was just thinking that they might add in bitz for like, a belly gun or deff arsenal or something and it would suck to miss out on that!

Buy the current one, then if a repackaged new one comes out with the bits and a price hike, sell the old one and buy a new one. Or take the old one back into GW and return it for a new one, on the basis that no-one warned you there was a new one coming out.

The new terrain:

Feth me, I need someone to sell me that eagle from the strongpoint in bits.

Glad I traded for a Baneblade a couple days ago, now I can survive these prices and reap the benefits of more people playing Apoc.

Some Xeno terrain would have been much better than Fort of Redemption II, but yeah...

Why not a full £100 for the lord of battles? Three figures to much of a hurdle?

The terrain pieces where not what I was expecting, but they aren't too bad. Still not rushing to buy them, maybe next year if I finally get around to picking up a wall of martyrs.

The scenary is ok not great but must be a fair size to warrent the price tag.

The choas super heave looks like its based on the death dealer from epic and that big box on the back will be the troop compartment I suspect around 30 troops unless its a flame type weapon in the center of the model and that big box is its coldren of molten metal

All that aside still feel like there should have been more super heavys some eldar, tau, nids, orks after all thats what this book is all about massive warfare so could have done with out the buildings for more tanks walkers

Looks like the Aquila Strongpoint is half of the size of Fortress of Redemption, for the same price.. ?

Judging from the size of the door on the right side, it's actually seems quite big. It's not going to be as high as the Fortress of Redemption, but I think it'll have somewhere around the same footprint (bigger width, smaller length).

A price hike wouldn't matter if the models didn't sell, but sell they will.

Plus, it's still $120+ for those laughably annoying to assemble, single-pose PP Colossals. Dinky legs and all, and those are smaller than these kits.

Miniatures are expensive. Good ones anyway. They never won't be, no matter who's in charge.

I suppose we have no idea of what the actual content of the book will be. Only rules for actual models? Updates on all the previous rules done so you can still play your nice converted model?
