Say your warbeast were to charge at a warjack and hits with its initial attacks, and then it makes the full advance free of free strikes, could it then end up next to another model (say, the caster) and buy more attacks against said caster?
It came up in a game the other day and I wanted to make sure as we could not figure out how to proceed.

No. Refuge triggers at the end of your combat action. So you have declared you will make no more attacks.

But could a warlock cast a spell after the refuge movement? For example: Aurora on feat turn charges, makes an attack that hits, refuges forward to a not-so-safe caster and flashing blade x7 for the win?

Yes, since you can cast spells at any time during a warcaster or warlock's activation.

Refuge actually says 'immediately after it's combat action ends'. When your combat action ends so too does your activation (see Activating Independent Models). Basically to trigger Refuge your activation must be over.

This is not how it works. A warcaster can still cast spells after its combat action has ended because there is nothing stating that the activation "immediately ends" after the combat action so a window still exists for the warcaster to cast spells.
If it worked like you say it does, then several spells would be almost useless (like Caine's Gate Crasher, for example), since they wouldn't be able to be cast for their primary purpose.

I strongly suggest you look at Appendix A: Timing. In particular steps 9 (where you may cast spells) and 10 (which exists specifically to resolve 'end of activation' events).

Once again, Gatecrasher lacks that 'immediately after it's combat action ends' which is why it works and Refuge doesn't.

I'm afraid Phantom Viper is correct here. After your combat action ends, there is a window there to cast spells and use any other at-any-time abilities before your activation ends.

Two things:
First, you seem to be mistaking a warcaster casting a spell with an action, that isn't the case, a warcaster casting a spell is a "At any time during this model's activation" effect, if you read the paragraph right before the timing table that you have quoted, you can see that these kind of effects can be made at any time except during a movement, during an attack (and this isn't between attacks but between rolling to hit and rolling damage, for example), or during the resolution of any other effect.
Second, you seem to be mistaking "end of action" with "end of activation" (point 10 in the timing table refers "end of action" effects, not "end of activation"), those are not the same thing and since there is no "immediately" stating that after the end of action comes the end of activation, there is indeed a window there that allows "At any time during this model's activation" effects to take place (another example of this would be the Minuteman's Flak Field that can be used in this window).

Good, because that little trick of charge, refuge then flashing-blade spam has got me victories quite often, I wouldn't want to be wrong about my favorite tactic!
