Death-Dealing Dark Angels Devastator

This is a 1,000 point list put together based on the models I currently have. Without further ado, the list:

Sammael on Corvex
RW Command Squad - RW Banner, 1 RW GL, Apothecary
2x RW Squad - 6 bikes, 1 MG, MM Attack Bike
Tac Squad - 5 Marines, ML w/ Flakk, TL LC Razorback

Points remaining: 13

I feel that with the amount of melta from the RW bikes and the plasma coming off of the command squad and Sammael that I'll have a decent chance of killing units with high toughness, armor saves, of AV 12 and under units. I know that bad dice aside I can use hit and run effectively to shelter in CC against shooty armies, or use my mobility to avoid CC against assault armies. I know that I only have 1 model with reliable AA (that itself isn't that spectacular) and that I have a comparatively low model count as a whole. But does anyone else see any particular weaknesses in this list?

(Also, my local meta has no issue with proxies, so the guns on the razorback and bikes can change depending on the army I'm facing.)

Swap the tactical team for a devestator team, buy a heavy bolter.

That will chew up another 10 pts

DA army: 3500pts,
admech army: 600pts
ravenguard: 565 pts

The Twilight Zone

I would give one of the ravenwing squads a second melta gun.

The missile launcher is not exactly a stellar weapon for backfield camping, but it does provide long ranged AT. If you keep it, drop the flak missiles. A single S7 shot is not going to harm the fliers you fear the most(helldrakes). If you need AA in a pinch, use those plasma talons on the command squad. Even bolters can threaten AV10 in absolute desperation. The bolters are also a great way to ground an MC. This frees up another metla gun, so each squad has 2.

You could go the mobile route by putting the tac squad in the razorback and taking a special weapon instead.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I took this list in for a game today that ended in a draw, with about seven models left on the table between both armies. What would you suggest for scaling this up to 1500 or 1850?

If you are looking for competitive RW then there are 2 options.

Either load up on black knights, or use the standard of devastation. At higher points Add more bikes, or more black knights.

More Knights, more bikers, and a Darkshroud.

If you go the Dakka Banner route, go for standard bikers in more numbers, if you dont take the dakka banner, focus more on Knights.
Ideally you need a mix of both, but which you focus on more depends on the dakka banner.
