Uh yea... those Phantoms are pretty amazing! Where did the Gryphon-esque mounts come from?

"You are like a son and together we have all but conquered the galaxy. Now the time has come for me to retire to Terra. My work as a soldier is done and now passes to you for I have great tasks to perform in my earthly sanctum. I name you Warmaster and from this day forth all of my armies and generals shall take orders from you as if the words came from mine own mouth. But words of caution I have for you for your brother Primarchs are strong of will, of thought and of action.

Those griffin mount things are awesome! Where on earth did those come from? Did the empire get some cool stuff when i wasn't looking?

Yes those are Empire mounts from the Fantasy range, given Marine riders. No actual conversion to the birds themselves, the riders are completely separate.

Your photos are great, the scenic feel really brings the miniatures alive, been seeing them allover the place for years. It would be nice to see close ups of these miniatures with a bland background too though, so one could also see the paintjob clearly.

It's quite crazy how you have the drive to do these huge projects ( or just clients that are willing to pay more than what one is usually offered for comissions, atleast in my country lol ) because they must take thousands of hours.

Thanks! Whenever I do these, they are always after the "official" post of the army. So if you go back a bit you can find this army and its traditional closeups.

Not thousands. I dont think even my Adepticon projects have hit 1000 hours. But that is how I can make it affordable to a few more people than celebrities I paint very fast.

These pics are awesome. GW should be paying you because your stuff is gonna make their stuff sell better. Much better than white dwarf.
Love the crash scene. That just gets my creative juices going and I haven't felt that about 40k in awhile

That is easily the best display of 40k miniatures I've ever seen, bar none. And a spectacularly impressive army too!

Is that something you did for the customer, or did you just want to do something cool and fun with the models before you shipped them out?

It gives me that odd feeling where you can't quite believe it's real. Like when you've supposedly achieved perfection. You never quite think you have it but...well.
